Construction photos from Carowinds and Kings Island posted on XPP

PKI's Tomb Raider entrance is complete. Two photos from inside the ride's structure still don't reveal the mystery of the ride.

As for Carowinds, construction on Carolina Boardwalk is ongoing. They have totally revamped the area, destroying two buildings and redoing several things. They will add a virtual ride, a pay-per-experience ride, called Cyber Sez. Ricochet is physically done, but there still is a lot of work to do around the ride.

What the hell is this ham on rye attraction.  I honestly don't get it.
That's the manufacturer. Don't worry about what that name means to anything besides its a VR upcharge attraction that has been fairly popular at other parks its already open at.
What's the attraction of?

Does anyone know if you need  child with you to ride Phantom Theater like you do for Scooby Do's Haunted Mansion at Canada's Wonderland?

Zar:  I think last year at the beginning of the season one had to have a kid to get into Phantom Theatre.  At the end of the year, the rule was relaxed, and anyone could get in.
I'm definitely going to want to go there this season to try out Tomb Raider and since my favorite rides tend to be themed rides or dark rides, I'd like to try Phantom Theater.  Do you know any PKI email address I can ask to be sure?

Gator...I don't mind the upcharge attractions like you mentioned.  I just hate that they took out the Whirling Dervish at Carowinds and put in "Flight School" in its place.  I know the few times that I was at the park last year, I didn't see anybody in "school."  Carowinds has lost two flats and Blackbeard's Revenge for their most recent attractions in the park.  I was hoping for some new flats in the Boardwalk section but alas no such luck.  I'm surprised that the Meteorite (aka the Screamweaver...I still use the old name... in "Thrill Zone" aka the section of the park formerly known as Wayne's World) is still there!  Some people might be like me and forget that the Gauntlet is over by the log flume.  Top Gun, a fine coaster it might be, and Flight School just aren't the swings or the Wild Bull.  Every park needs a little variety.  I guess Carowinds is in the upcharge attractions.

Regarding Phantom Theater, DAFE responded to my question with:
"No, they changed that  a year or two ago, adults can ride"

Can anyone else confirm this?

I can't confirm anything, but I'm "pretty sure" they'll let you pass through, I mean it's a great ride and when I was younger half the people waiting in line were over 20!  I also hope we get Update #3, The Antechamber soon.  The e-mail says February but that might be a little iffy IMO.
