X keeps on growing. I estimate approximately two weeks before the ride is completed. The 4th attraction, which looks an awful lot like the new Cedar Point attraction, is starting to be assembled. The ride vehicle has also appeared.
At the Berry Farm, work continues on preparing the moving of two flat rides as well as the removal of Windjammer.

Twistedrails.com has done very well with "X" updates! I willl take Windjammer anytime. I don't care that it is rough, or that it gets stuck inbetween hills. Thats just more fun to push a six ton train over a hill! How much do you suppose it will be for a penny-a-ton? That's a fair price right? Hehe...
Deja Vu's chairs look so ugly and bulky! They look like they were taken from the 80's if thats what inverted seats looked like back then. I agree w/ OrientExpressKid, Twistedrails.com has done a great job with the updated pictures! Theyre always the best ones around, and many of them make great desktop designs..X will will probably be complete in 4 weeks max. Testing should begin first week of August, and hopefully should be open mid August-late August. As far as Deja Vu opening, well only god knows when thats gonna happen
UpsideBlue: Not sure what calendar you're looking at but today is July 17th...four more weeks of construction would put the finish date at around mid-August. How would they then test X the first week of Aug? LOL!
I'm placing my money on a Labor Day opening at the earliest.
TWO WEEKS!? I cant wait to see that train fall down that 'hill'. It should be called a cliff, dont you think?

X will put every roller coaster ever built to shame!!
Oh BTW, has anyone noticed the chameleon paint on the X trains? If you can get a look it is way cool.

Something else that most people haven't spoken about much is the size of those trains. IIRC they're 24 feet WIDE and a whopping 72 feet LONG! Imagine THAT running the rails!
24 ft? ive heard many times that theyre only 20, but i think youre right about the 72 foot length
oh and the new pics over at twistedrails show that there are still two large cranes on site, as well as two smaller ones
