Green Day & Blink 182 came to Six Flags Darien Lake during the first weekend in June... I heard they completely rocked.
The next big rock concert there is Creed, but for 50 bucks a ticket... I think I'd have to pass, speaking of which, nobody mentioned it... but they are also a former Christian musical band with Christian roots!
Other note-worthy bands coming to Six Flags Darien Lake:
* Rush
* Tom Petty
* Poison
* Lenny Kravitz
* Nickelback
* Dave Matthews Band
* Kenny Rogers
* The 'Hip!
Ok, ok... maybe some of those weren't all that note worthy ;) Even so, Darien Lake has the best line-up of bands than any other park in the country!

....Summer is only a short 91 days long. How much of that time are you going to use at the amusement parks??

Broaden my musical horizons? What the hell do you know about me? You're talking to someone who is going to see Jewel and KMFDM in the same week. I think my horizons are pretty damn broad.
Jars of Clay, POD and Crud are sellouts (the latter of which has a reputation for being seriously high on himself, that's real humility) who've left their beliefs out of their music to sell records. A "Christian band" that scores hits that have nothing to do with their belief system hardly counts as spreading the Gospel, or makes anyone a Christian music fan. (Though I don't think it matters, since the only one of them that's any good is Jars of Clay.) Amy Grant got lucky with a couple of non-Christian pop songs. DC and Newsboys just outright suck.
Broaden that.
