CoasterWorks, what happened?

What the DBH lacks is decent pacing. It is quite clear the ride was built for airtime and nothing else, but the design of the turns is just dumb; I have never been so bored on a coaster in my life than I am on those turns. The air is good and the ride itself is good, but I do not find it to be this "underrated gem" that many enthusiasts crack it up to be, and I have had many rides on many different days and in many types of weather to base this on. And, for the person who said they didn't fail, they did. They are no longer in business.

Is there some type of news story you have found saying they are out of business? Just because they haven't built a coaster recently doesn't mean they are out of business. They do maintanence and other services for wooden coasters as well.

RCDB does not tabularize every individual coaster in the world. The site does not list anything in Russia, Hong Kong, Iran, and other countries. RCDB should not be considered the "final answer." The site takes the information from "Usenet, Internet, amusement parks, roller coaster manufacturers and enthusiasts" (http://www.rcdb.com/about.htm)

DBH is a respectable coaster (even better than B&M's Iron Wolf.) DBH is not a great coaster, but it still is epicurean.

I know they are still around there Eastern office is about 15 minutes from my house and there sign is still out front and I don't see any for sale signs around it. I always say I'm gonna stop and see if I can buy any shirts or stuff from them but never do.

I know GCI does reprofiling and retracking aside from there designs. I guess we'll see whats in store for them as the new coaster announcements start coming in.

I also heard they like to only build one or two coasters a year so they can supervise over the construction better than if they have a dozen projects on the go at once. All my info came from my one buddy who worked for them for 4 years. I'm guessing he wasn't B.S.ing me.
