coasters with excellent themeing

If you buy the 3d Glasses for $1 in the Disaster Transport line, then it's awesome! lol. My friend and I got them when we went Thursday.

Seriously though. Volcano and Alpie get my vote after my Va trip last year. Magic Mountain had some good theming for being a Six Flags Park. And Knotts has Xcelerator and Ghostie which both have good theming as well. MmmMmm Knotts' Boysenberry Pies/Funnel Cakes/Punch.....MmmMmm. Sorry, whenever I think of Knotts I think of Boysenberry's.

Check Out My Site: CoastingOhio....And The Rest Of The Country

California Screamin', The Matterhorn Bobsleds, Big Thunder Mountain, Xcelerator, Ghostrider, Goliath, Batman: The Ride, The Poltergiest and Montu all have great themeing in my opinon.
There was nothing special about Volcano to me Volcano ,and Skull mountain at SFGAdv both have the same amount of themeing.
I forgot about Xcelerator, but California Screamin'? Say it with me...No. Besides, sometimes it's not the theming that makes the difference. It's the scenery. Prime example, for me at least, is Deja Vu at SFGAm.

Take it up a notch, Mr. Operator! I wanna feel my brains in my feet!

Spiderman! Oh wait, Thats not a coaster.

Here are some of the best Themed Coasters I have ridden.

Beast 1979-1988. This coaster had a flooded mine theme and it was clear that THE BEAST is a creature that cause everyone to become terrified with fear.

Dueling Dragons, I could not believe this whole castle and Dungeon scene , Almost better than the ride, However Fire is awesome.

Flight of Fear 1986-1987 and then the let the theming go to pot and it only gets worse.

Alpenguiest. Nice, Really nice.

Montu, Well done and on the ride it is Very well done.

Villain

Raven

And if you read the whole story behind Legend, It fits to a T.

The best themed coaster in Pennsylvania has to be the Exterminator at Kennywood. It is awesome because you don't know where you're going, because you're in the dark, and the theming is really insinc with the ride.

I like the Themeing on Exterminator. I like the ride. But the one thing I found out at the Ohio State Fair. IT's not necessary at all. This is a great ride, inside our out and the edge I give the fair is only 5-10 minute waits!

Chuck, who loves exterminator but thinks it may be the only ride at kennywood that has 2hr waits

I give all my props to the Out Limits, for the scene they put you into, I mean even with you get off the ride if you look up the brake run, the theming, it just awesome, fromt he affects they create upon you,

I also agree even though I havent been there yet, but I wont say what I Dont know, but I do know that Incredible hulk looks like it took some good theming to come up with

Medusa at SFMW clearly has the best theme of all! A Mythical beast destined to mangle anyone that dare enter its lair - a car park!

Well, I haven't been to IOA, so I can't really compare it's rides. I always like the disney theming (except for PW) and some of the best of it is at DLP. Indiana Jones has great theming and so does Space Mountain, also, I know it isn't a coaster, but ET has a great line, too.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving's not for you.

Hulk
Dueling Dragons
Nemisis
FOF
Deju Vu
Batman The Ride @ SFGrA was kewl in the beginning, but since public has messed with it it now looks more like a rundown city street some where in Manhattan. Oh wait a minute--isnt that what they wanted it to look like?? LOL 8-)
