Coasters unlikely to be seen again

I don't know about you, but I think that the following coasters will either never be made again, or only like 2 or 3 more made: Floorless, Stand-up, Giga, Hyper Woodie, Wooden Looper. What do you think.

well out of the ones that you have said. I think that we will see many more floorless, stand up and giga. we may see another hyper woodie in the future. wooden loopers? i have no idea! i think that we are through with regular boomerangs and shuttle loopers.

The one that was so violent it needed a nurse on-call on the platform... :) I've forgotten the name, sorry. As for coaster types, there will always be coasters that remain "unique", but who knows what will happen!

I don't think we'll be seeing any more of the same Vekoma SLC clone anymore. They had their run, and I think that'll be it for any more parks.

Along the same lines... I think that Vekoma Boomerangs had their run and installations at all possible parks.

It's time for the 2nd generation of clones to start making their ways around parks...

The first is the Intamin Impulse (ie: V2)... What else, I'm not sure... but I wish if there was a clone going around (even though I dispise them), it'd be some kind of B&M clone, just because they are a whole lot more dependable than Vekoma!

Also, I hate to say... but I don't think we'll be seeing any of those Superman: Escape coasters like the one at Six Flags Magic mountain. There's only like 2 around, and none in the past couple seasons.

i don't personally think we've seen the last of the slc's. Isn't Jazzland getting one in the future??

Um.. Wildfire? I don't think sit-down loopers are out, not every park can afford a huge B&M. The T.Tornado at Dollywood only has three inversions, and is said to be a great Arrow. Unfortunately, I don't think stand-ups or suspended coasters are going to be bought by any parks anytime soon.

Wildfire has 5 inversions.

How are hypers going out? This season alone we've had Nitro, Expedition Ge Force, and X (don't know if thats it) and the last few seasons we've had, Milennium Force, Superman R:OS, Raging Bull, Apollo's Chariot, Son of Beast, Steel Dragon 2k, Goliath, Titan, and there are rumors that more 4d's and B&M hypers are on the way.

Why do you think mice will disappear? They are a great family ride, and not every park has them. And havn't they already been around for 40+ years? Usually rides that old just don't disappear.

I beg to differ. Last year saw the opening of a ride that combined all three of those. Lightning Racer at Hersheypark is an awesome ride, and I don't see any of these creative, fun types of rides disappearing.

"Future:Much Taller full circuits..."

Well, duh. That's been the trend for the past 100 years. Don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
