Blue Streak at CLP, its all in the woods and at night you can't see anything, but its hard to get to many rides at night since the park closes at 9 except sat at 10, Also MF is also great at night, but then again what coaster isn't as long as the bugs aren't to bad.

"Plus Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris."

I was about to say the same thing about Matterhorn at Disneyland, California. Muuuch spookier at night. I love those themed rides.

My all time favorite night ride is Beast at PKI. Holy cow. That's like a religious experience. :)

Phantoms Revenge rocks at night. The Ravine and the bunny hops are completely dark!

The Whizzer. Not on the same level as The Beast, I'm sure, but The Whiz is definitely improved in the dark.

I think that pretty much any coaster is better at night.

Demon at SFGAm improves drastically at night...

something about it just seems faster and more intense...

and being in the pitch black until you get to the lighted tunnel is really cool...

Swam Fox @ Family Kingdom is great at nite, all the lights are one, the city is wonderful at nite, and going up the hill you get over the building view and see nothing but pitch black ocean. Amazing!

I rode Raptor, front row, at night. And it was a great ride, EXCEPT... BUGS! I couldn't open my eyes or mouth. The four of us in the front row rode in silence the whole time. It was pretty funny.

Space Mountain!

But my serious favorite would be Nitro, those woods in the front seat at night, pure adrenaline :)

I would have to say the Blue Streak at Cedar Point is by far the best at night. No waiting to ride, very little lighting, and it's a lot faster then during the day.

Oddly enough, I think Revolution at SFMM becomes a completely different animal at night. It's not that it's any more intense, but it's really one of only three coasters (Ninja and Goldrusher join it) at the park that go through any sort of trees. I rode Revolution for the first time at night a few weeks ago and was shocked at how incredibly dark it was up in those trees and how much more fun the ride was, despite the headbanging. Then going through the loop next to the fountain with the colored lighting flooding onto the water, it was a very, very pretty ride. You also get a great view of the Carousel fully lit near the end of the course.

It's still painful, but at least it becomes really pretty :)

The Beast by far, you cannot match the fury of it in the 540* helix.

B:KF! Coming out of the Cobra Roll into the huge bright lights is amazing... (from A Bug's Life) "Don't look into the light!". What a quality coaster, and nighttime really does a lot for it, especially if you can catch a ride when the fireworks are going off to the left of it.

Might be shorter to name coasters that do not improve at night;) I think most coasters are "funner" at night.
Beast, Raven and Ozark Wildcat get my vote for having the biggest difference in day vs night rides. Beast and Raven because of the trees and terrain and Oz Cat because of the chaser light package.

I really have very little to add to this....well...for the *enormous* change from day to night rides, Grizzly East. But I've yet to meet a coaster, any coaster, that wasn't better at night. OW gets a LOT of points in my book for those chasers....awesome job, GCI/CC.
