coasters that hurt

I just cant see how someone can like Steel Phantom, yet think that Shockwave @ SFGAm is bad. GASM-II on the other hand reeked...

Anyway, the most painful coaster I've riden is The Legend (ironically, it's my favorite coaster). That coaster is just really physically demanding. Next comes Villain, The Boss, and Twisted Sisters (anyone know what the common thing is yet? ;))

OL:FOF (PKI) was also a "reach for the tylenol" expericence.

Fujin Rajin II at Expoland in Osaka, Japan.  It is a standup TOGO (of course), and simply horrid.  I had last ridden it in March of 98, til this summer, when, in July, I took a chance on it again.  I don't know if my brain was on humidity overdrive, but I don't recall it being THAT bad...  What a nightmare!   Fortunately, there were very large padded OTSRs, but they do almost NO good.  The ride hits the turns at such terrible angles that nothing can prevent pain, or the potential for a developing headache...  I have ridden many violent coasters, some of which that I actually love.  Tremors comes to mind as a very violent, but enjoyable, ride. I didn't dislike Windjammer (also TOGO) half as much.  I don't know what it is about TOGO...  They make a world class coaster (Fujiyama), and then continue to make questionable product.  Perhaps their days are few?
