What would life be without roller coasters? A big ball of poo!!!
One sad story that ruined someone's interest on roller coasters:
One day my cousin and I got into PCW's Vekoma SLC. I had no problems but he was very banged, lost his glasses, and a neck pain. Vekoma has ruined his interest on roller coasters almost completely.

"Son of Beast was sure a rough one, I sat in the back, has anyone ridden in the front?"
I've ridden just about everywhere on the SOB. I ride it now only because it's the tallest and fastest coaster that KI has, but many times I start to regret it when my stomach starts feeling like it's being thrown around. But some advice: don't sit on a wheel. I personally prefer the back best. I rode the SOB the day it opened. It seemed to be so smooth on that day, I was impressed! Then it went downhill. To answer your question directly: the front is fine if you don't sit on a wheel! If you know you might get a ride that hurts too much, ride the front seat. Who knows, the Son of Beast may be having a good day.
Also, Flight of Fear doesn't hurt anymore, but I was really bored on it. I don't like the new seats, either. I don't think it's necessary to have your feet secured like that. The lights were on and it was too slow. I think PKI compromised too far, but considering many people were getting hurt and they were getting sued for this ride (or at least that's what I heard on the news), I can understand why.
The Beast is still #1 there!
