coasters that does not go with the park's vibe

Personally, I every coaster I ever encountered seemed right at home... including Whirlwind at Knoebels.

Seriously... are we just looking for new things to nitpick about?

YES!!! ;-)

It helps us pass this poor, pitiful time called the off-season.

...just to mix things up a bit (and so I can interject some well-deserved PRAISE in amongst the "complaining", LOL), I'm gonna go on record here and say that the best park I can think of in terms of staying true to their "theme" is none other than my home park, BGT.  Names of coasters,  ride theming, everything, Edge of Africa/Dark Continent, whatever...this park definitely has a "vibe"...

ProgRay:

Just so you know, and I was there at the end of last November, the Triceratop Spin at Disney's Animal Kingdom is open and it is a Dumbo-style ride, with dual controls for the 'dinosaur' vehicles.  You can make them go up and down and also undulate them in a wave-like manner.  The Magic Kingdom has a similar ride in their Adventureland but it is themed to Aladdin and features a water-spitting camel!!

i don't think any one really complaining just offer some insight on how to create a unique and cohesive park atmoshpere. Anyways, I'll offer some positive comments (we haven't been that negative) but all the coasters at BGT and IOA blend so well in the overall atmoshpere. Hershey pack also has a impeccable vibe that flows throughout all its rides especially the woodies, LR and Wildcat. Hard to explain it but the placement and thrills of the rides just seems so right with the rest of the park.

Knoebels doesnt care about looks, there;s no theme. all they are really looking to do is please people. does the skloosh fit in either? didnt think so

I think that Mean Streak looks wierd.  It's way in the back, and just the way it rises up without any trees around it is totally different from the frontier area that you have to pass through to get there.  It just seems out of place.

One thing that I think that some parks do well(Disney ones, PKI, Universal, and some others) is making sure that all of their rides, while unique, mix well together.  This makes it more fun for repeat visits.

By the way, GeminiDustin, what is a ride host?

No one has mentioned Drachen Fire.  This head banging beast was totally out of place in a family park like Busch Gardens with it's generally very smooth coasters.
