I can dub in sound, Dave. No worries. I haven't talked with their tech people because, as you might suspect, they won't likely be in until Friday!

Jeff,
Is there any possibility you would ask this question from me "As a youth, what was your favorite amusement park ride?"

Thanks Jeff for all these great podcasts, and hopefully you can do a show from one of the 3 Sandusky indoor waterparks this winter, which have a 75% chance of me visiting.

Attention to all of you who would like to listen to this...YOU DO NOT NEED AN iPod to listen to it...if you download iTunes or Quicktime, they read the Mp3 files of podcasts. I figured I would get the out there for those of you who didnt know and felt left out from the podcast loop. Have fun Jeff...wish I could be there, but I'll be curing my Saturday night Halloween activites on Sunday! =)

The "About" section on the podcast page explains that, but thanks for pointing it out, I guess. :)

Any audio program or device will handle MP3 files just fine.

if you download iTunes or Quicktime, they read the Mp3 files of podcasts.

Or, you could use the player most of you already have, called Windows Media Player.

Or you could use one that doesn't suck as bad as those, which is called WinAmp v.2.75.

Why v2.75?
A question I'd like asked: "What, specificly, is CP's plan to return attendance to early to mid 90's levels?"

I know there has been talk of lower admission, but that is only a part of the problem. In-park costs have made a trip to the Point very expensive for a family. $3.00 for a pop? $5.00 for Dippin Dots? $7.00 for a beer? Heck, I can get 6+ of those off Point.

MrScott

onceler:

Because its one of the last versions of WinAmp that doesnt hog resources and cause instability.

EDIT(in response to Ben's comment below): Not everyone would have problems, of course. But in my experience 2.75 has a far better success rate when compared to newer versions. And absolutely 2.75 uses fewer resources, which is a concern for some people.

I haven't had any problems with version 5.08e.

I'd like to suggest this question:

"Why does Cedar Point think that most every major addition must break some sort of record? Why not work to just round out the offerings?"

I can answer that, one word answer:

Marketing.

MrScott

Next record I would like to see:

Most up-time on a new coaster since 2003!

millrace, you are just too persnickety. :)
either that or cranky. I'm sure Kinzel is a delightful three-dimensional guy.
