Coasterbuzz logo...

Not to bring up a "covered" subject, but I do think the logo could use a re-do. Not that I don't like looking up into that guy's nose (and mouth), mind you, just that a more coaster-oriented logo might look better. Anybody else out there with an opinion on the logo?

A guy riding a coaster isn't coaster related?

Wow, I never realized that guy was riding a coaster. I alway thought it was a guy with a sign. I still think it's a rad logo (I bought a shirt I liked it so much), and would hate to see it changed.

This logo is the reason I don't yet own a Coasterbuzz T-Shirt. No offense to the designer, but I think it's kinda ugly.

There's another contest for you...maybe take submissions for a new logo ?

OR, maybe just a couple of new designs for the shirt where the logo isn't featured. Just my $0.02

The logo isn't going anywhere. And yes, I'm offended.

I find it hard to believe that anyone really cares that much to post something about it. If you've got constructive criticism for the site, that's one thing, and I welcome it. If it's something like "I don't like the logo," save it.

Personally, I really like it! Whenever I wear it while out shopping, it turns heads. It get's a chuckle out of my friends, and the newborn across the street from me always lights up with a huge smile when she sees it!

Some people are just never satisfied. If you don't like it, then don't look at it.
Speaking of the logo, which coaster's track was used?

my opinion is the logo is not that nice, and was a definate reason why i didnt buy the shirt.

The logo is fine. It's fine as it is.

Just a comment with no offense intended: every person is entitled to design their own site the way they like. If you have a website and Jeff visited, I doubt he'd email you to suggest that wow, your design is so ugly, you ought to change it. If Jeff gets tired of looking at the current logo (assuming that he looks at it far more than most of us), and he wants to change it, then he can choose to ask for suggestions about it, but is in no way obligated to take anyone's advice. My personal opinion notwithstanding (and not important), the logo is perfectly fine and suitable as long as Jeff thinks it is. As he stated, this is the forum for constructive criticism and honest suggestions, not "I don't like it so let's change it". And I agree with Neil, if you don't like it, don't look at it! This site isn't about the graphics, it's about the news and rumors and forums that we get to discuss and share our views about honest coaster-related items.

First, if this is the best "Suggestion for CoasterBuzz" we can come up with then maybe this section should be shut down, too.

Secondly, liking or disliking the logo I feel should have no bearing on whether or not you buy a shirt. I'm simply not the kind of guy who goes out wearing yellow. I'm more of a black t-shirt kind of guy. (See what listening to too much Morrissey will do to ya, kids?) Still, I bought a shirt on the first day they were available. I like this site and don't want to see it disappear like so many others. I bought the shirt to support Jeff, not as a fashion statement. I suggest that maybe you should do the same. (Maybe you could bleach it white!)

And it's support in many ways. Not only does it help pay for it, it also helps bring in traffic.

hmm...not to add to much more to this but...

my girlfriend always thinks the logo is a picture of a guy snoring in his bed which is attached to a coaster. So "Coasterbuzz" is just a nickname for taking a nap on coasters.

I love my girlfriend.

Sorry to open up the T-Shirt can of worms, I was just pointing out that I thought the design was cool.

I looked at it and saw a guy riding a coaster, screaming... it's interesting to see how many different interpretations of the logo there are.

(For the record, I like it.)

(The spell check doesn't seem to be working, all I got was a "contained no data" message.)
After it was explained that there's a coaster track under the guy, I like it better. I didn't mean to start any arguments (but I guess the thread's been pretty polite, so...)
