coasterbuzz club transportation

Even if Jeff COULD do this without the liabilities and such, it would take wayyy to much time and would be virtually impossible with the vast number of people who would need rides. Plus, if I were a parent I don't think I would let my child ride somewhere with someone who neither I nor they knew...

If you can't get to the parks to enjoy the benefits of the Club then don't join. Nobody wants to take responsibility for anyone else's teenagers should an accident or injury occur. I guess that means all of you are SOL.
Just hitchike.

I cant bair to read much more but if you wanna be on the coasterbuzz club and wanna  go to the parks you have to get your own ride, just plain and simple, that or the price for membership has  to go up really high. Also isent the whole deal with this club just to be like a coaster group or somthing to that sort where people can meet at the parks and talk coasters  hang out , get ERT etc? and thats all it should be not i pay my member ship and i have someone pick me up becuase then is it fair to the kid who lives 25mins from you? and so on and the whole idea of this topic makes no sence,if you join the group find you own way to get there.Ill be driving in sept and my parents would drive me around till then but thats just me,again there should be no reason to depend on people to transport anyone in these types of sitations unless your freinds and always hang out thats difrent just becuase someone started the group dosent mean they have to transport aswell (IMO)

Jeff, if I get toasted at a CB event, will you drive me back to Pittsburgh?  C'mon, it's only a 5 hour round trip out of your way! ;)

Chaperoning of 4-H...yes, it's a rule or something (at least, we supposedly were :) )
Here is a idea, how about waiting until there is a date set. Then try to get something together on your own. But to cry and pout about an event that far in the future before you have looked into all the other possibilites just shows your age. Be creative. Im sure if you really want to go you will be able to find a way to go on your own.

Jeff, would you be willing to drive out here to Wisconsin to pick me up and bring me to a CBC event? Just kidding. I wouldn't want that anyways.

Now really, if you were to join ACE, would you ask Bill Linkenheimer for a ride because you can't drive or don't have the money to drive yourself there? I think not.

Put even more simply: Jeff doesn't want to babysit 13-17 year old children.

That something is...
Snake Venom, Metal Dog, and Mad Cow!

I sure hope that there aren't any pedophiles reading this thread.  Membership could get a big boost.

Well calling people assanine and posting 8 times with you whining about how you can't drive isn't going to get you anywhere...

"Good things come in small packages"- .

This is an absolutely ridiculous question.  Do you actually think 7000 people ask ACE President, Bill Linkenheimer if he could pick them up and drive them to an event somewhere?  If you play a sport at school or any type of extra-ciricular activity, you are responsible for your own transporation, why would think this is any different?  Use a little common sense here.  I will say that ACE does offer a carpooling system on their website, but everyone who is a member is responsible for their own transportation, just like any other club.

Christ how do you kids do it
Note to teenagers who need a ride to CB event, you are too obsessed with this event.  Let go a little.  The park will always be there!:)

Kennywood is my home park!!!
The best thing to do is try to figure out the members that live within your area and hopefully find someone that is old enough to drive. To ask Jeff to play cab driver is ridiculous.

You Guys are Missing the whole Point... My Friends Are Jeff's Next door neighbors, its not like I have 30 people lined up and ready to go to these events. just Me and Kevin. no one more than that. the BTA could get me anywhere in Brunswick... thats how I get to my Friends, I see Jeffs House All the Time!

And you are missing the point of what Jeff has stated. Since you are a minor, he takes a risk by transporting you there. Cant you take a Greyhound bus from Cleveland to Cincinatti?

My, this is the one of the strangest threads that I've ever seen. If you and Kevin would like a ride to a park as a personal favor, go ask Jeff personally. I'm not saying that he would consider taking you, but it seems better than starting a thread asking if the club will include transportation (which is just plain silly.)

A bad day at Cedar Point is better than a good day at work.

If I go, I may be taking a Greyhound from Cleveland. Round-trip tickets are $31 each (with discount, or $62 without)...
