coasterbuzz club transportation

let's say if i were to join this coasterbuzz club. i am 15 yrs. old and i would have no way of getting to the parks. Would i not be able to join or would someone from around my area pick me up to take me to the individual park. My parents would like to know. This question is mainly directed toward Jeff, becase i live in north royalton ohio which is like a city away from his town

Me too. Is there any chaperoning?

Jeff, I have the Same Exact Question, I go to school with Kevin (Duff Gardens) And Its Kind of a hard thing to contemplate, on How to go anywhere with out anyone to take Us, I Know that You, Jeff, Just live in Brunswick, While we are 10 min away in North royalton, would you be as so Kind to Take us? =o) Hoping and Praying!

I'm only 14 years old. how would we get transportation if we are only 13,14,15,16 and 17?

Funboy, I'm jsut talking about in the Intermediate Area of where there Are People Who I Know will be going to PKI, HW, CP, ans SFWOA, And we live right by Jeff. so it would be nice of him to take us.

No way would I make myself or the company liable for anyone's safety or return home. I don't even do that with the kids that I coach.

If you need to get somewhere, you're on your own. How do you get to parks under any other circumstances?

It seems to me like i am bringing up a soar subject. All i wanted to know is if someone (not neccesarily jeff) would be able to drive me to the parks. I am sorry if i insulted somebody or something i just wanted to know because my parents were curious

jeff i don't know about u but my parents wouldn't drive 4 hours to go to an amusement park. that is just how they r. now if it were sfwoa, or possibly cp, that would be a different story

Jeff, its the same story for I. What If Our Parents Wrote out a letter that gave you permission to make any medical decisions and stuff like that for us, and we brought our insurance cards and Stuff like that? I had to do that when I wanted to go to Stay with A Friend of Mine in Shakopee, MN, I'd never met him before, but If we Get some type of leagal permission Papers, Then Could you?

I dont think it has to do with him taking the responsibility. I think its just him taking you places. I doubt he wants to hang around or talk to teenagers all day.

Well if thats true, then I think he should know that like 2/3 of this Site is Teenagers...

Then I Believe that there should be some type of Carpooling System you should Arrange on here. I wouldn't Mind Paying a little bit for gas and stuff... I think this is something That I should Fight For along with everyone else on this site who doesnt have a ride... there is plenty of time for something to be arranged. It Would bring Much success to the Coaster Buzz Club.

    Listen you have to understand he can't take that kind of responsibility. It's not gonna happen. The best idea I have is have a local carpool that you could organize, just find a parent or adult willing to take you guys down there. Plus if your 15 then you'll be driving next year and can take yourself to the next coasterbuzzcon.

It isn't that Jeff doesn't want to drive you, rather the truth is he cannot drive you.  If he was to get into an accident with any of you guys in the car, he would be open for lawsuit after lawsuit. Negligence suits are so easy to win these days that Jeff could get sued fpr millions of dollars, and that means no more Costerbuzz or Coasterbuzz Club or GTTP.  I don't blame him.

You might be able to organize some carpooling (with other members on this site), but chaperoning?? Is this a school group?? A 4-H club??

This has got to be the funniest thread I've ever read.  Are you guys serious?  Why not ask any ACE members if they'll take you anywhere.

I think that stuff has to be arranged on your own, but not between the site and Jeff.

Hey, if a member is going, maybe they will be willing to take you.. or maybe some type of interactive system could be set up, but I agree that Jeff shouldn't be driving you (strangers) to the park....

I think your info is a little skewed, XFlighter...the amount of teenagers on this site is probably closer to 1/3.

Jmstuckman, chaperoning of school...yes, chaperoning of 4-H...no! You just took that too far, man. j/k We're never chaperoned at least. :)
