Coaster Vids on Kazaa

Anyone on here Kazaa users? I cant find anything on there except for the Wicked Twister animation.

Yeah I use kazaa often but haven't found anything about coaster vids, too bad. Maybe some CB users could contribute vids if they use Kazaa.

I use Kazaa, but the only thing I could find coaster-related *That I didn't already have* was a sound file of a 1976 Cedar Point show.

If what I heard is true, you won't be getting jack from that site since all file sharing programs have to be close by end-of-month or face 14,000 dollar fines per day.

I think your best bet is to go and BUY a coaster video.

Even Morphues, Lime wire, Buddy share, The Gnuetella Networks? First this cant happen since they dont actually have the files like napster hosted them. So that total BS.

Peabody... unfortunately, I can't get a link. I heard it on the radio about a week & a half ago that in 2 weeks (the end of the month) the music companies were forcing all the file sharing programs (not just KaZaA, but others as well) to close or face major fines.

I haven't seen any printed articles since then... and I hope I'm wrong because I've still got some mad downloading to do... but I'm taking it as they are going down, and don't be surprised by Saturday if you see that it's no longer in service!

Ummm, yeah, I'm sure the RIAA would love to, but the fact of the matter is that it will never happen. Why? Well, here's the thing. Morpheus could be shut down tomorrow. Any Junior Comp Sci here with a B average or better could write a new one. Process begins anew. Also the only weakness of the newer filesharing apps is the autoupdate. WHich means that if the companies got in ANY legal trouble, patch the autoupdate out, and the program is wild. You would have to prosecute USERS. And that, we all know, will never happen. It is profitable for the RIAA to maintain ten lawsuits against software developers. It is not profitable for them to maintain 100,000 lawsuits against individuals. File sharing, for better or for worse, is never going to go away.

Yeah, I'm a Kazza user but I don't download many coaster vids because I really have not been able to find many on Kazaa, there just are not many out there.

Well, Once I get around to arranging all my files I'll most likely start using Direct Connect.

Just have to echo what others have said, as much as the recording industry might want to close down the Gnutella file sharing progs like Kazaa, Morpheus and Limewire the best they can do is to stop more people from downloading the main prog...all the people who already have it are going to continue using it and there's not much anyone can do about it unless government hard drive snooping suddenly is made legal in the name of "national security" because the Gnutella network isn't actually hosted on a server and thus, can't be shut down unless all existing copies of the program are deleted which I think we all know isn't likely to happen.

just a quick note: Kazaa, Music City, and I think one other are all the same program, Morpheus. if you do have Kazaa switch to Music City 'cause Kazaa has spy ware.
I did put up all of my coaster vids on Morpheus, but recently I had to use my quick restore CD and so those are all gone now. I've downloaded a few since then, but I'd say your best bet is to look on-line unless you want people's home videos. you'll find more results on-line and the download will probably be a million times faster. one time I was d/ling a song and the speed was -0.00 kpbs. I couldn't stop laughing.
also, if all file sharing programs were going to be shut down you'd think that the creators of the program would let the users know that the program wasn't going to be available after a certain date. the only message I've received from Morpheus recently is that version 2.0 is due out soon.

Comatose has the REAL goods here. True, they can shut down "file-sharing company A" or whatever, but c'mon, the Internet is NOT going anywhere. As for file sharing, the computers basically see 1s and 0s, and transferring data is easier than pie...You can stop the method, but the madness is pervasive. The kitty is out of the box folks, and it's NOT going back in...

Like Jeff said, it very well COULD be copyrighted, but noone (not even RIAA) cares a bit about "personal use"...
