Coaster track records with anomalies?

With just under a hundred coasters in my track record (nothing compared to some of you), I can say I've experienced a lot of what roller coasters have to offer, style-wise.

For example, the B&M coasters I have ridden include the Sitdown, Inverted, Standup, Flying, Launched and Floorless, but no Hypers.

Just seemed strange that I have ridden an Intamin, Morgan, Arrow, and even a doggone RCCA hyper woodie (SoB), but no B&M hypers. Being that I live on the east coast, it just seemed almost impossible for me NOT to have happened upon of the the 3 stateside ones from B&M during my coaster trips.

My point is, are there any of you who have ridden quite a few coasters, but have a notable absense of a major style coaster/ or manufacturer like me?

Brian, I had nearly 200 before I hit my first Morgan....now I have two, Steel Forceless and that *piece of steel* on the Santa Monica Pier. I'm hoping to get on one post-SRM out in KC, in the faint hope that it'll be a better ride...

It was also GREAT fun to finally get on one of those FSSs...(Roller Soaker for me). Those things are awesome, every park should have one.

Of the 121 coasters I've ridden, not one is a CCI...or an Impulse.

I have the same problem as you Homey, I have just under a 100 coasters and have some pretty interesting ones but I still have not been on a B&M hyper. That will change this summer at CoasterCon when I ride my 100th coaster, Apollo's Chariot and finally experience the one B&M coaster type that has eluded me.

I got my first Vekoma Boomerang this summer..after I'd ridden both a GIB and an Invertigo. I'm missing an Intamin looper and full-circuit inverted, a Premier shuttle, and a Gio hyper.

Vater,

Now that's just downright impressive!! For shame though that you missed Swamp Fox when you were just a few blocks away at the Pavilion in MB!!

No kidding. That was back in '95, I think...my only trip to Myrtle (hence, no Hurricane in my track record, either). I didn't even know Family Kingdom existed, and back then I wasn't hell-bent on riding every coaster I could find.

I really must ride a CCI. How fitting that the first one will most likely be Raven or Legend this year.

All downhill from there, I'm afraid.. Some not as far as others, but..

Wow, we are bored, aren't we? ;) Ah, well, I can't blame you, offseason does wierd things to your mind.

Out of my 68 coasters, I haven't ridden a Vekoma Boomerang (although I have hit two Invertigos and a GIB), an Intamin Impuse, a B&M Floorless, or a CCI. But all these can be achieved with a visit to SFWoA...

No offense intended JamminJ, but this is not something I do because I'm bored. Coaster websites are exactly that. This is just something I thought about at work and figured I'd see if anyone else felt they had GLARING holes.

This is not a dying attempt to keep activity going on the CoasterBuzz forums. I don't care whether seasonal parks are open or not, it had nothing to do with this question or why I posed it.

Again, I mean no unintended malice, but when people make statements like the one you made, it comes off condescending and derogatory. I have nothing personal against you, it's just a pet peeve. Now let's dead this, because I'm really interested in what some of the other people have to say. ;););)

82 coasters under my belt and no floorlesses. Weird, huh?

There is no mercy for those who ride X.

XItToXtreme,

BKF was my first and came right about number 70 or so. It's still my only floorless, and from what I hear, a darn good place to start.

160+ exact number depends on counting method. No wooden mice.

I've only got 50 coasters in my track record, so I'm not sure I "count". I have yet to add a floorless and a flyer. Someday I'll do some more research to get the exact models of the coasters I have ridden.

I've had the pleasure of riding two John Miller wooden coasters at two now defunct parks in Michigan.

I'm 135 with 1 mouse (my second coaster - Quassy's Monster) and no wisdom coasters. Very few mine rides or juniors overall. No Intamin Looper either, but those are a bit hard to come by on this side of the pond. No B&M flyer, but that'll change pretty quick.

Not really anomalies, but I'm still looking for a B&M diver and a tilt-coaster. ;) (let alone a half-pipe/hammer-head stall.)

No powered coaster of Schwartzkoph jumbo jet (or whatever the style that Whizzer is).

No custom SLC.

No Togo hyper either, but...

Sheesh. So many credits, so little time.

I just hit 103, and I have never ridden a morgan. Thats fine though because the only one that appeals to me is mamba

Welcome to Planet Nupe!

At 68..(small I know), I'm still missing a Floorless and B&M Hyper, to name the big *losses* but I'[ve got 7 CCI's and that makes me feel a little better!

Brian, my only descrepancy is my apparent failure at ever getting to ride Swamp Fox after all these years, and even living in Charleston for 18 months. Sheesh! :)

Apollo's chraiot was my 100th coaster, too! ^_^
The only breeds of coaster that comes to mind that I'm yet to experience is fourth dimension and B&M flying.
