Coaster Track Record

hey jeff,

I think it would be useful for people's track record to include coasters that were once operating at a park. For example for those people who have ridden the old Corkscrew and the old Geuaga Lake or the Jumbo Jets from Cedar Point. I think that when a person goes to a park's page that lists the coasters it should list every coaster that has operated at that park to give a more accurate track record.

Another example is the old Fire Cracker from Holiday World, I never road it at Holiday World. BUT I rode it at the IX Indoor Amusement Park, now I count it, and thats the only coaster I've counted outside an amusement park.

Anyone have any suggestions.

The easiest way I see to do this would simply be to add a status field (SBNO, Operating, Defunct, Under Construction, Moved, etc.).

Speaking of track reccords, I can not modify mine or log on a a member, which I am. Every time I log on, I go to modify my track reccord and I am told that I have to log on, which I just did. Help?! *** This post was edited by WildOne on 6/30/2000. ***
I agree with Dan. My spouse and I have ridden quite a few coasters that are no longer in existence. The Little Dipper at Kennywood, The Jumbo Jet at Cedar Point, The Giant Coaster at Crystal Beach ,the original Mr.Twister and Wildcat at the old Elitch's just to name a few.

This topic comes up often, Jeff says that he is working on it. Wait until the summer 2000 season is over, and maybe there will be time for our overworked webmaster to get on that project.
