Coaster Shows on T.V. Tonight

I saw the Draken fire segment. That must be a few years old. Regardless that looked like one cool coaster. The showed quite a bit of it.

That was the first time I saw Wild Rides 2. That was a pretty good special.
Darchen Fire didnt look to bumpy at all. They showed people on it and it didnt look bumpy.
According to the RCDB, Mean Streak is indeed longer than Shivering Timbers. So, they're still wrong. ;)

Steel Phantom was on alot! It was real funny to watch the guests on there get thrown around like rag dolls!
Ummm - correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Son of Beast only have ONE lift hill, also? And it is way longer than ST.
I don't like the fact that out of THREE stinkin' hours worth of footage, PKI was only mentioned ONCE, and for only about 30 seconds - and that was only to showcase the upcoming SOB. (Obviously an old show.) I hope PKI gets the message and gives us a decent steel coaster next year. Maybe THEN we'll get showcased as much as Kennywood was, not to mention other parks.

You just answered your own question. At the time the show was made, Son of Beast hadn't been built yet. So, Shivering Timbers was longer (even though, yes, their facts were wrong and Mean Streak should have been called "longest with one lift").

Personally, of all the shows, my favorite part was when they talked about "Cedar Point's great variety of wooden coasters."

LOL, Lynch! I think that's where they meant to mention PKI. And Kennywood, respectively. I bet CP told the show they had a variety of wood coasters. Especially with the great Gemini and *Wood*stock's Express. ;)
