Coaster Shows on T.V. Tonight

This is a VCR alert! The Travel Channel will show three shows @ 8 p.m. Eastern time. The first of the three will be Wild Rides, followed by Extreme Rides 2000, and Amusement Parks: the Pursuit of Fun.

Did anyone catch the 'breaks' on Medusa?

BTW, does anyone know anyone on those shows and are any of our members on any of the shows. I know Dan will be on the CP one in May.

The wild rides they're showin has some different scenes from the original one that aired on the discovery channel. Some include more Batman footage and a close up view of Montu's batwing.

It's a shame when your home park is never portrayed, ya know? But this year, I think that's all going to change with the additions of Deja Vu & Vertical Velocity. If you haven't figured out what my home park is by now, it's SFGAm.... And her day will soon come.

The crack in the track right before the station also known as 'brakes'. ;)

God bless Extreme Rides 2000. If it weren't for that show, my ol' Dad wouldn't have seen Shivering Timbers... which means my current #1 woodie would be occupied by something else. ;)

There is one thing I am sorta mad about: they didnt really talk about my two favorite woodies: the Beast and SOB! I know they touched it a little, but when they covered Shivering Timbers, they should have touched base on the Beast. Just my opinion

Yeah, and they said that Shivering Timbers is the world's longest wooden coaster at 5,000 ft. long.

That was a little bit of misinformation since they forgot that The Beast at PKI is still the longest wooden coaster in the world.

Does anyone know if the show about the making of Lightning Racer taped last year or anything about Racer ever aired? I have been wondering this since opening day last summer.

Um...If I recall correctly, Mean Streak's length is 5427' vs. 5384' on Shivering Timbers...or do I have them reversed...anyone?
