Coaster Model Forum

I know how much Jeff doesn't like to add new forums but I think it would be a cool idea if you had a model forum. Then people can post pictures, ideas, and questions, about K'nex rollercoasters or other ways to make model coasters. Just an idea.

That kind of narrow-band topic would perhaps be best left to a forum on a site that specializes in models.

I don't know. Couldn't the same be said for the games forums? It seems that topics on models have been coming up more and more frequently and I think they'd be able to draw enough traffic to make forum worthwhile.

I do a lot of modeling but I feel awkward burdening the general topic with that kind of discussion. I wonder how many other modelers wood come out of the woodwork if that kind of forum existed?

I definitely would, as I've tried a couple of models. I'm pretty ambitious because I'm trying to create a working wooden coaster. I was also thinking about creating my own impulse with small electromagnets. Many people bring modeling up in the general forum, but they get buried under the other topics.
