I could see Raging Wolf Bobs up there.

Grizzly at PGA for sure! They need to tear down that POS ASAP! Yeah, like Mr. Anderson said, it would be really sad to see the Coaster at PNE go. That thing is great!
viper at SFGAdv is reopening this year
If they get rid of Whizzer, can we have it here at WOF? We want a Zambezi Zinger again. :)

GO HUSKERS!

Kick the Sky, I also agree with Demon at SFGam. Not a great ride, and takes a decent amount of space.

bigkirby! I am SOOO surprised to see you saying RWB could go "belly-up". Not that I'd want any wooden coasters to simply "go away", but if I was FORCED to pick one for the wrecking ball, RWB would be at/neat the top of the list.

Grizzly at PGA, I still feel, was an OK ride, certainly not worth "growling" about, LOL, but well within the limits of a ride that could be tweaked into a good ride...

I'll take first dibs on Lake Compounce's Zoomerang. I was there last summer when the ride was got stuck mid-ride, folks were cherry-pickered off, and the train was left there for a day or two at least.

Or, I know it's heresy, but with Cedar Point so tight for space and Mean Streak taking up so much space with mixed fanfare, why not Mean Streak -- replaced -- with a better woodie.

And, I've been thinking that either Python or Scorpion at BGT is living off borrowed time for awhile. Next year BGT would be about due for a new coaster.

And, to stir the pot and claim more tickets few would agree with me on, why not Lakemont Park's Toboggan or DCA's Mulholland Madness.

nooooooooo, don't kill Scorpion. Great coaster, but low ridership.

Mean Streak should go, but won't, sadly.

Doesn't it seem as though morons always have the caps lock on?

So, how many are we up to, guys? like, 30 coasters? lol.

-----------------
If the shoe fits, find another one.

I hate to say it but I think Carolina Cyclone at Carowinds is coming close. Its still one of my favorite coasters even though 21yrs. old. It has a bad rep. with park-goers, the head-banging was fixed, but people don't know it because they dont ride it.

-----------------
800,000 years in 7 seconds: Time Machine the movie or next S&S creation?

Put in all the coasters at Old Indiana. Those things will never go up.

-----------------
You can hear the laughter, you can hear the mighty roar. From the brickyard down in Indy to the white Chicago shore. It's a rollin', twistin', turnin' and might we both suggest. You get you fanny ridin' on the Cornball Express!

First of all Viper is open and even on rcdb.com it says under Coonstruction opening 3/29/02. Texas Tornado? I don't think so.
Add RC-48 at Morey’s Piers. Not because it is a “portable” coaster as many complain, but because of its seats. If you sit in the back, your knees are brutalized by the back of the seat in front of you. Story is that they just used the production number RC-48 as the name. Keeping with the old stories about “Jois-ey”, they should re-name it “The Godfather” (“You ride my coaster, I break your knees”)

-----------------
"I wasn't always this cynical, but then I started kindergarden..."

If they took Demon and Whizzer out they'd have a massive space for a new massive coaster preferable an Intamin, CCI, or Givanola (sp?) I think SFGAm has there fair share of B&M's and not to dis B&M since they created my favorite coaster (Apollo's Chariot) I really think that another huge wad of money like that being spent by SFGAm is bad news. SFGAm desperately needs a good wild mouse too. But since we're talking about a defunct list I'd have to say some of the fair type coasters at Morey's Pier and hopefully, Galaxi at Riverview park to be replaced with a nice wood coaster to compete with BCKC.

-----------------
Milwaukee Wisconsin, we bring you beer, brats and cheese. But don't be fooled, "Milwaukee truly is a special secret getaway that I will be sure to tell my friends about!" Erin Brockevich, not to mention that we are an hour from SFGAm........

Thank you WICKEDTWISTED for getting it right I appreciate everyone elses replies but many of you need togo to the video store and rent Clint Eastwoods THE DEAD POOL so you understand how this works

Pick 5 coasters( +2 alternates) you personally feel will bite the dust in the next 2 years (not coasters you hate and want to see destroyed, by the way true enthusiasts dont want to see coasters go away) Either by total destruction or relocation out of the U S A

In other words it's a game

The person with the most accurate DEAD POOL list at the beginning of the 2004 season wins Hopefully we will all be losers and no coasters will bite the dust Then we'll actually all be winners haha

I know. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the bobs (and the lines :) ) but besides ridership, just watch it complete it's circut. New trains won't help the poor thing when the track itself shakes that much (a good foot or more in each direction). Either Denise Dinn-Larnick should fix her fathers masterpiece (it's a great layout and should give a great ride) or it should be torn down and rebuilt with CCI magic.

Demon doesn't really have low ridership. Every year I've gone to SFGAm they have always sent the trains out full, always 3 train operation, minus last year. With the wall gone, I'm sure it's ridership will go up again to make 3 train operation happen again. It might not build up a line, but people are always in the station and filling the back side of the line.

Whizzer, on the other hand, always seems to be breaking down. I love the coaster and all, but every time I go on Hometown Fun Macine, it gets stuck on the lift. I must be a curse, if I go on HFM, Whizzer gets stuck. It may have lines all the time, but it's a perfect fit for a S:UF clone. I will hate to see the day it goes, but it's near, and is getting nearer... I'd much prefer that for the 2002 or 2003 season it's closed all year for a major overal, but I doubt that will happen.

I think it would be

Double Loop at SFWOA (I love that ride but it has got to go)

Python @ BGT

and they should do something with the mean streak like maybe put another little coaster inside the "courtyard" of the coaster b/c that is alot of land sitting there

Okay, explain please? If you "love" that ride, why would you want it removed? So it may not be the newest, biggest, etc... but evidently it is a fun ride (since you "love" it so).

What is the reason for riding these creations? Because they are record setters... new... high... fast... or what ever... so we can have "bragging rights"? Or for the fun of it, no matter how old, small, or slow they may be?
