coaster club not a cool idea

Ever since you guys started that club think this site started to suck. I dont mean it in a bad way but the people who dont have a account cant do crap.
People who aren't in the club still have the news, full access to forums, the Coasters and Parks databases, the links.  Where do  you get "can't do crap"?

My page

What can't us not-club members do? All I can think of is use the club.coasterbuzz.com domain (which is virtually identical to the www domain) and track record.

Then there is the meeting caladander. Like that thing does anything? Before the "club days" I looked at it, most dates were empty, and with less people having access to it now, I'd guess it's virtually useless.

Then comes the personal buzz site. That I mainly used for bookmarking pages on here. If you want to do that, just make a favorites folder in your browser and bookmark it that way.

Oh, and the membership card. Well, it's a card, like any other card, just another card to carry around. Sure you might get discounts on park admission, but Jeff, do you have any of those set up yet? I'd guess you might with Holiday World, seeing as one of the park's high-ups comes here, but other than that, do you have any (if you even have that)?

I myself would join, even though those features (to me) appear useless, just for the ad-free pages. But I can't, as I can't spare the money.

To me, the "can't do crap" is what used to be "can do, but isn't worth crap." The only feature which I can't use anymore which I did use is the track record, and as of now, it is still current (for 3 more weeks, anyways.)

You just joined this club.. You haven't even really experinced it.. I am not a Coasterbuzz Club member and I still enjoy this site very much. I would but I don't think my parents would want to pay something when I live in Asia and can still get the news without joining.

"Roar" You'll never hear the end of it!

iam not new i have been a member for a long time back to the days of the site having a yellow back and not that big. I just think the club was not a good idea. The reason for having a new name is i got a new e-mail address and could not remember my old password. plus my e-mail was deleted.

Ahh, what a line.  If only you saw the true humor in what you just said.
But don't worry, we all know you meant that it "sucks" in a good way.

Look, plain and simply put, money makes the world go round.  The internet is no different.  Frankly, I would pay just to use the site as it is... Having an actual coaster club is just an added bonus.

The meeting calendar had nearly every day in April to September filled... I'd hardly say that it wasn't used very much. For the record, that may come back to the public site. It's not worth that much if the 140+ members are the only ones using it.

Other than that, what has changed that is ruining your life? Like FloridaCoasterRider said, the idea was to support the site, since ad dollars have pretty much gone to the crapper.

Thank a club member instead... if it wasn't for them you wouldn't have anything at all next month.
