You find it hard to believe because he forgot to add and then his hair got stuck and when the car dropped his face was ripped off!

That's it. Bingo.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

When I was on Rock and Roll Roller Coaster, I was pulling down the restrain and my wrist got stuck tight in between the restrain and the wall of the car. I tried calling out for help, but no one heard me. Just as they, were releasing the coaster car to the launch area I screamed and thankfully they stopped the car. They helped me move my arm to a comfortable position where it was not stuck. I was so relieved I was scared my arm was going to get torn off
Silly me, I thought you didn't believe it because it wasn't true.

Close Call: I went on a Zipper...at a small fair...thats all I have to say.

PS: Is it just me or do ALL Zippers make creaking sounds.

They all make creaking sounds. And they all have cracks in the steel. And they should never be operated without a ready supply of running water. :)

Lets see, back when I was like 8 or so (around 1995) at Lake Compounce I went on the Himalaya. This was before I was an enthusiast mind you. We were half-way through the ride where it stops momentarily (before it starts going backwards). Well, I mistook this stop for the end of the ride. I got out and then the damn thing starts going backwards and I'm standing against the scenary wall scared for my life. All these people saw what was going on, just about everybody but the dumbass drunk operator (he was literally drunk).

At the end of the ride all of these people came to my attention and stuff. I don't remember much more.

I was riding the Raging Wolf Bobs at SFWoA a few years ago before they retracted it and I was literally standing up on the 1st drop because the restraints didn't come down far enough. I did sit down though because there was a head chopper(wouldn't that be nasty) waiting for me at the bottom of the hill. I don't know if I would have hit it but I don't really want to find out.

It was really fun playing chicken with my friends with it. No one ever stood the whole time but I did touch a support on the side of the track on the last turn before the station.

Anyone remember Gladiator's Gauntlet at BGW? I rode this lame ride once many years ago. It resembled a Huss Top Spin, but the platform was actually separated in the center and the seats on either side faced each other. The two supporting arms rotated sometimes in different directions, unlike a Top Spin, so the platforms would slide apart and come together several times during the ride.

It looked more intense than it actually was, but it still freaked me out when my restraint had a good foot of play in it. I had to bear-hug the OTSR to keep from falling out. I think I would have been in some serious trouble had the ride actually inverted.

Does anyone remember what kind of ride this was, and if there are (or were) any other installations elsewhere?

Sounds like you are describing a Wakai Wave, such as Quake (SBNO) at SFKK. I have to agree that the ride looks amazing (in the rare case that's running), but I rode and it was l4m3.
