Chris sawyer is creating

I just hope that we can get all the rides flat rides shop stalls etc. and a building constructions election.Instead of having to raise the land u know.

What in the world is in that bag?Watch u got in that bag!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Heres an idea, what if you could build a park, as usuall, and then have the ability to turn into a person in your park, controll their movements, and ride the rides. That would be AWSOME! (sorry Jeff, but I felt as if I really neede to do that)

I was just looking at the features section of Sawyer's site and noticed these http://www.chrissawyer.com/feature3.htm  I was just think that maybe the new game won't be 3D, just more refined like those pictures.
Corbin, those are the original RCT pics, and wouldn't be reused in RCT2, if it's in development. In almost all RTS games the graphics are designed larger than what will be used, then shrunk down to scale. It just makes for a better end graphic than if you would design the graphic at the final size.

I was just over reading the RCT Boards on Danimation.com...found this post from coasterco (he was right in the past about all other CS projects, so this could really be legit):

Andrew,
As you have been so patient recently in regards to the new project Chris and I have ......
..... Next year in Q1 will see the release of Rollercoaster Tycoon in 3D (The official name is not known at present) Imagine, how great it will be to finally build your parks as you build them now, but when you are ready, being able to walk around them in 3D, I am not talking Theme Park World 3D, I am talking Return to Castle Wolfenstein 3D, realistic graphics rendered from actual images taken of Rollercoasters, when you walk around your park, it will be the closest you can get to walking around a fantasy park without being there yourself.
I hope you are as excited as I am about this project, and I hope to hear your views on this in the near future.
Take care and speak to you soon.

Yes I understand that Tribiggar, I was just saying that he could keep the isometric view and just clean everything up some.

Why does that sound so familiar Jeff?;)

Yes its definitely interesting that all of these people know so much when his publishers don't even know the full extent of the project:

Hi:

All Chris's interviews concerning published projects are handled through his publishers, who will usually take responsibility for all publicity. Chris has not disclosed the nature of his new project even to publishers yet, and is not keen to discuss it publicly.

Since Chris can't possibly cope with all the enquiries and fanmail he might get as a result, we can't give out email or other contact details.

Sorry we can't help.

Regards,

Guy Herbert

How about this , you can look thru the eyes of any peep in the park  similar to how the old bullfrog themepark game let you ride each ride by clicking on the view icon. You would go wherever the selected peep went and ride what he rode and puke when he puked.  That may be easier to program than  being able to navigate the park yourself  and you could always switch peeps if the 1 you selected kept riding the merry go round and going to the bathroom

My second suggestion, if possible, could make Sawyer alot of money.  Instead of making addons, simply make rides we can download from the net for a fee put them on the game as a saved track under a "miscelaneous window." Then he could develop flat rides, theming, senarios, coaster types and such at his convienience and we could expand our parks likewise

Last suggestion,  under the alternate paint scheme window add anothe window for tunnels.   It would work the same as the paint. You would tunnel any part of the ride you clicked on.  The tunnel could be themed to the ride such as mine shaft for mine train,  magnum style for steelies and box style for woodies.   The tunnel would be the same color as the track it covered so you could use the alternate colors to make it a different color than the rest of the track
