Chris Sawyer, creator of the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, has revealed more about the upcoming RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. Sawyer says the new game will improve some of the user interface to make editing terrain and coasters easier.

I was addicted to the original game becuase it was so unique. I bought the expansion packs becuase I craved variety. What I need now is something different. That's why I'm into NoLimits. Unless RCT2 is something truely revolutionary I just don't know if I can go back to little 2D people walking around on the screen. However I do miss that feeling of being psychotropically addicted to a video game. :D

Marine World Freak, there ARE already B&M hyper coasters available in RCT. Someone is a bit slow. (unless you don't play the game)

I want to see more tracks, midway games, day and night and less puke. I also hope that more people will ride the huge roller coasters, because in the original game they it's too intense. I also want to see like a freeform park editor, so that you can recreate a park without worrying about the money. It would also be cool if there was and option where you could ride on the roller coasters.

You know what I really dont care what is on the new game as long there is at least a lot of new stuff I would be so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Id like to see all the above ... plus Shows like Waterworld or Wild Wild West Stunt Show.

Maybe a Fireworks show if we have Night mode.

Plus Parades.

Plus Expensive on-site hotels.

Plus the ability to upload stuff - Theme Packs and Logos etc.

Definitely what I'd like most to see is banked inclines and declines, plus more flats. Also, it would be cool if a whole bunch of water park attractions were added, or even some kind of separate water park section (maybe even a waterpark tycoon). Also, the water rides really need to be speeded up.
First off, Hi! I would like to see all of the things mentioned above, but I do think the look and feel of the game should remain. The game is so brilliant that it would definately be a mistake to change everything DRASTICALLY. Some features are needed to keep the game alive, and I do believe that real world parks should be designed. One thing mentioned is a 3-D interface. That would be hard. There could be an option, though, that would allow us to walk through the park after, or during, construction. Maybe we could click on a peep and then have the option to see the park as a peep. Design the park like RCT 1, but improve the park by seeing on the same level as the guests. That would be a great tool and improvement. Also, as the peep, we could ride all the rides. A great game exists already, so maybe we should just improve on the existing, not change stuff just to change stuff.
I'd like to see a little "diversity" in park guests (heheheeh)

I think it would be nice to have a more accurate height system for the rollercoasters that is easier to figure out.

The current system works well for building, but there should be a view you can toggle which translates the numbers it into real measurements.

I'd llike to see everything here plus more freedom in making flat rides (Like self programming) and I'd also like to have trains go round the track multiple times to re-create those great family rides.
