I've been outbid. :(

Oh well. It might be a good idea to allow Voyage to warm up that first hour before I take my first ride. :)

Just cause.....from wikipedia:

The first known thanksgiving feast or festival in North America was celebrated by Francisco Vásquez de Coronado and the people he called "Tejas" (members of the Hasinai group of Caddo-speaking Native Americans) on 23 May 1541 in Palo Duro Canyon, Texas, to celebrate his expedition's discovery of food supplies.

edit: So, as it turns out, MAY is the month for Thanksgiving...how DOES Paula do it? ;~o

Yeah cause (as pointed out in another thread) wikipedia is such a good source. Anyway, I cannot wait any longer. Paula, I know you have a time machine hidden somewhere and I have heard you talk about it in this post: http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2005/04/time-to-whine.html
Can I hop aboard?
And do you know which president made Thanksgiving a national holiday?

The 16th president.

Our own Abraham Lincoln...who grew up just four miles west of here.

Anyone recommend a nice and clean hotel to book for the opening of the voyage. I know I will be in the top 28. :) cannot wait either!

Thanks in advance. Indoor pool would be cool. I know of some links I was asking from anyones personal experience, clean is important to me. thanks guys

The charity auction is over and I was able to secure 3 seats for opening day ERT. I know plenty of other people will be riding before me on Media Day, but this should be a fun memory for me, my wife and 6 year old son.

See you on opening day!

I will see you there. I will be in the front seat hopefully. It will be a great morning for a great cause and what a cool thing for your son to be a part of so young. Great for you and your family. very cool. I cannot wait though! I hope it is nice that morning. a little fog could be really cool though!

:)

Anyone else from Ohio or Michigan gonna be on the "Charity Train" on opening day? My friends and I got a room at the courtyard. Link from their website.
