Chaos rides being removed from Six Flags

Does anybody think that SF will take the time and money to replace the Chaos locations with a new ride for next year? I can't really see them just leaving the ride area as is w/o the Chaos, but then again, I can see them doing that. Maybe some landscaping will fill these places. But what are your thoghts about possible rides? The noly thing I can think of that I could see SF highly investing is Disk-O's, and I think they'll fit in the area just fine.

I don't think they will replace the chaos next next year unless they move an existing mobile ride in it's place. SFA could move the Alpine Bobs or they could just put a fence around the site like they did with the old Enterprise.

Knowing Six Flags, the Chaos rides will be replaced by nothing whatsoever. New flats would be a miracle; landscaping would be a pipe dream.

And still SFMM has no looping flat rides.

Oh but Rob, you're soooooo wrong ;) Six Flags New Orleans replaced their chaos with 'oh so lovely' "green space" ... LOL

Actually the area looked better BEFORE the chaos left because they had to rip out some fairly mature trees! They replaced it with a couple trees which appear to have died (one of which was removed). Jazzland or Six Flags doesn't matter what management, neither one seems to be able to keep their new trees alive.

Of course one employee (who thankfully doesn't speak for the rest of them) said that the "green space" would be a perfect area for a picnic... Yes a hot concrete slab surrounded by grass and no trees is a great area for a picnic. Who the hell has picnics in parks anyway?

Anyways, coming to all Six Flags parks that remove their chaos next year, "green space!"

Green space would be nice... much better than a vacant concrete pad. But it's likely the parks would just leave the pad in place instead of ripping it up and replacing it with a lawn, trees, flowers or any combination of the above.

SFI is currently in the proccess of removing all of its Chaos rides and no Six Flags parks will be operating them next year. *** Edited 8/27/2005 11:56:41 PM UTC by Steel158***

Chaos at Clementon Park reopened one week ago.

Marine World replaced their Wipeout "Starfish" with a Toyota.

That beats out all your empty spaces and grassy patches...

Does anyone know the status of the Chaos at SFA, I know the one at HP was working as of last sunday.

As far as I know KC at SFA is down for the count this season,Steel158 claims that by next season none of the chaos rides in the SF chain will be operating so that'll probably include SFA's :( .

Now if they cleared enough land perhaps the enterprise could be placed there,but even then it'd be a long shot so who knows? perhaps SFA may add a flat next year to replace KC.
