Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom's Chang roller coaster, a B&M stand-up, is being removed for water park expansion. It will be relocated.
Read more from WLKY/Louisville.
I'll be there Columbus day, I'll be sure to look for clues.

Chang as an addition would be sweet. I loved this ride the couple times I rode it. Still doesn't compare to the Riddler. If this coaster is transitioned into a Floorless coaster that would be perfect. I don't see the need to remove Wolf. The ride is perfect in its location and a new set of trains and a fresh bright colored paint job to get away from the Maroon track and supports would be a nice twist. Again the problem with placing "Chang" at SFGAM would be that whole concrete issue.

I know a lot of you have high hopes for this but you're wasting your time. It is not going to happen. Period.
And I think everyone heard you say that the first hundred times. :)

LOL Mike. Looks like I scored a double pun. I had intended "stand up" as a reference to Chang. The fact that it also applied to comedy didn't occur to me until I read your reply.
Wow. Amazingly, I missed it the other way.
Take a bow, sir. The universe is working through you. ;)

2 suspendeds at La Ronde is stupid, especially adding an inferior one.
2 stand ups by the same company at the same park woudl be equally as stupid, especially since stand ups have little appeal these days.
Wherever it is moved, it would be of best interest to convert it to a sit down coaster.
I tried to post earlier, but I'm having difficulties with posts that include links. So....
The item I was getting at was the "Standing and Loop Coaster". Clearly we've got some evidence that points to the *do-ability* of the conversion from stand-up to sit-down. But since B&M seem...unwilling....then it won't be happening with Chang. But it COULD be done...although your manufacturer's warranty at that point becomes scrap paper...
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
SFOG already has a stand-up coaster...which is the reason why we are debating whether or not it will go to SFGA.
The only difference is, the Georgia Scorcher is great!
