CF Parks & Water Parks

GeneticFreak: Fine and dandy--but I guess my question is, was WWK included in park admission before or after CF purchased it? I can't imagine CF letting that nice waterpark go inclusive on their own...
I remember it being inclusive sometime around 1990 (I think), but they were still separated by the parking lot. So it was a pre-CF thing. You had to cross the driveway, which is now the path under Talon's lift, to go from park to park. I'm not sure when the parking lot was moved, because that was one of the last times I was at the park until Steel Force opened. I guess I went through a period of time where I just didn't go to any parks, but the "Force" brought me back, and is actually responsible for making me into the enthusiast I am today.

I think it was included last year for Cedar Point. They had a special 2 day Ride and Slide pass good for 2 days at SC or CP or Both, and when I went in July it was only like 56 dollars. The lady at the gate told us it would be cheaper for all of us to get one and we did. Didn't seem like a drastic price change. Maybe 10 or 15 dollars more then admission for a regular one day CP ticket.

When you order a dinner and dessert and your bill is a little more cuz you got dessert too--it wasn't included. You paid for it.

You paid extra for Soak City. Same difference. You just said so yourself. Discounted? Sure! But paid for? You bet.

My work is done here. I think you have some waiters to beat up now...

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

Kyle they have the same thing this year, too.

A one-day pass is $44 and the "Ride and Slide 2-Day" is $64. And the way they have it set up you don't have to use them on consecutive days

It might as well be included, that's one heck of a deal even if you don't want to go to the water park.
