Is that serious? I have trouble picking up sarcasm over the internet. No offense if it's serious.

Celebration City is a park in Branson,Missouri, built by SIlver Dollar City. 2004 will be it's second year of existance.

The Chance Aviator is a fun relaxing ride. They have one at PKD.

If it is in fact a Chance Aviator, that would be a cool choice. It is NOT an intense ride, but DOES provide a good height from which to view the surrounding area.....in the Ozarks, those are some pretty sweet views! :)

P.S. Alan's cheating....with two Ys, at least one of 'em has to count for a vowel...;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Has anyone noticed that CC already had a ride called "The Flying Circus"?? On the map it looks like it was one of the kiddie rides. Hmm...

Flying Circus is their "Red Barron" ride over by OW. I'm still unsure if this will be the ride or not as the press release says 80ft and the specs say 100ft for the aviator. I guess we'll have to do some more digging, and prying from SDC to find out what exactly it is.

Dont the specs say it's 80 ft. when it's not operating? Maybe we just got a smaller version. Who knows. At least it's 80 ft. tall whatever it is, we need some more height in our park.

Well I do remember them stating in the survey that they wanted a "tall icon ride" and then they showed a picture of an airplane swing ride. After thinking a little more about what you found - it makes sense. I'm sure that CC got a discount from Chance for buying two rides from them (the Chaos is also a Chance ride). I would imagine that the Aviator will go down by Fireball and Shoot 'd Chutes and the Chaos will go in the Route 66 area.

Bill did you go down to Branson this week? Not much going on is there - only thing that struck my interest is that Ray Stephens is taking back over his old theatre (Country Tonite). Also did a little exploring around the 'city and found an awesome area to take photos of Wildfire.

How did you do a little exploring of the 'city?

I'm excited to hear about the Chaos. It is one of my favorite flat rides I've bene on over at Cedar Point and I'm excited that one of my home parks are getting one. I know I'll be seeing you guys down there in March when Celebration City opens briefly for the Spring.

BTW Has anyone got any news on Buzzsaw Falls?

I'm am surprised that Country Tonite is not there in Branson anymore. I thought that show was doing very well. You know lots of weird things happen on the 76 Strip.

Heck yes you will. I think it's 50-some days now!! It's getting close my friends, it's getting close.

I didn't go in, I went to area around it.

Chris, I don't think Country Tonite is leaving. I heard they might be moving into Yakov's old theatre (he has a new one).

Is it March yet?

Are you talking about those parking lots south of Wildfire? I went there a few times during the construction of WF.

Well Parking lot A and then that condo area on down the hill that you can see from Wildfire.

Does anyone think it would be worth driving 30 minutes every day to work at Celebration City?

Flying Circus is not from Kansas it is from Texas.

I have a video of this ride and I believe I found it at "thrillrides.de" It looks like an out of control ride.
Yeah I wish that it would be this Flying Circus instead of the Aviator, but I'll take what I can get. Speaking of Wildfire, the parking lot for large groups (like our band trip) has an EXCELLENT view of the ride.

It's bad enough when it's hot at a park, but worse if your parents are there.
The Flying Circus named ride at Celebration City is not a Chance Aviator. It is from deep in the heart of Texas.
