Cedar Point/Top Thrill Dragster down AGAIN

Associated parks:
None

The car was still perched at the top when my daughter got to me. I wish I would have had my camera on me that day, then I would have proof of what I saw. Let me put it this way, my daredevil 12 year old got so scared seeing it stuck that she refused to ride any more rides.

^ There's no debate over what you saw, you were there for "the day Dragster stopped on top"...pretty cool, IMO. Your daughter's train was brought BACK to the station for unloading while some employee was dispatched to the top of the "hill" to give the train a nudge so it could complete the circuit, and drop off the riders at the appropriate (and SAFE) location...the exit platform.

The *discussion* is about the fact that what you were TOLD (and I have no reason not to believe you) was pure fiction for the entertainment of the op who was doling out BS like it was 25-cent cotton candy.

Again, no harm no foul...but you WERE being toyed with. ;)

Yup. As others have said, there are no brakes at the top of Dragster's hill. The car has perched up there, against all odds, but not because it was being HELD there.

"You seem healthy. So much for voodoo."

I agree to the ride operators make up things.

I was in line for X for my second run, and it broke down 4 times in like, wait 5 hours, and the entire time the RO's were Having fun, making jokes waiting for the mechanics to reset the ride. I think it was the computer, thought there was a problem, and prevented the train from being dispatched. This was back in 2003, I believe. That or '04. So the ROs would be like, sorry everyone, the ride isn't letting Blue out their seats. Does blue want to go again? YEA! Sorry, can't. OR The Fat lady sung and got stuck.

HAHAH totally... i think at first everyone would enjoy the view, and then I would try to convince the people on the train to start shifting forward weight in the same direction rhythmically to see if we could move it :D

Canada needs more than Wonderland and the West Edmonton Mall. :/

I'd get everyone pumped up for a Top-Hat sitting record.
I'd just hope i didn't need the bathroom. *** Edited 8/26/2006 12:47:38 PM UTC by FLYINGSCOOTER***
