Cedar Point's Wildcat Gets Painted!

Gee, Maybe Mantis will get new trains so it will become the high capasity ride it was ment to be and also be able to turn that daym brake off.

I for one actually like the trim on Mantis. As I think you get more of a hanging feeling through that first loop which I just think is awesome.

Just a reminder that not all trims are evil, some are there for good reason, and some actually :o add to the ride. I know its a hard concept to swallow, but on some coasters it is the case.

I was just there Saturday and Sunday and I don't think Wildcat looks that great with the new paint job. I like it better the old way (It's funny cuz I rode it Saturday night but it was dark so I couldn't tell until Sunday morning when I passed - very surprised!)

I am a boy.

I'm divided on the subject on Mantis' trim. I rode it twice on a rainy day (yes, same day I rode Mean Streak in the rain), and could defineitly feel the diffeence with an innefective trim. The g's were so intense that I literaly collapsed in my harness in the brake run. That was one time I was glad for a bit of stacking, and those constricting harneses! On the other hand, It was fairly exhilerating, once I got over the shock. And the G's pasted my head in place during the ride, preventing the headbanging that can make the ride fairly unenjoyable.
To be honest, I liked the old colors too, but maybe this will be a change for the better.

The top 3 all time cobrarolls.

1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's

Today the track was finally finished (Purple) and the supports are a very bright yellow. I think that it will look great after it is all done.
