Think of the possibilities, though - mount a horn on the front of the train, and when it pauses at the dive, it's like it's showing off it's majestic-ness before swooping down into the rainbow butterfly patch.

I seriously doubt that they'd scrap tons of merch and signage and promotional materials and park maps and such to change the name, *if* they'd already settled on it. We're not entirely sure how much of that was "done done" already and how much could still be changed.
Obsolete merch could always end up as raffle prizes at coaster events held at Cedar Point for years to come, or the shelves of Dorney Park gift shops next year.
Not that I think they would actually act on this- it's not like it's a tsunami or anything...
The trick was to surrender to the flow.
It just seems likely there's a fairly lengthy lead time on such things.
Just the design process involves going through the process of creating a version of the logo/graphics/whatever to the specs of each clothing/cap/keychain/et cetera manufacturer, running each of them up the chain for approvals and so on.
Coordinating just T-shirt orders for 11 parks with the manufacturer(s) involved will be a time-consuming task. The park can't just ring up Zippy Fast T-Shirts and order 5,000,000 T-shirts involving 187 designs in multiple sizes by Tuesday next. (Totally made up numbers.)
I, for one, am proud of my collection of obsolete merch acquired from years of coaster events. :-p

Would Dollywood's "Shot Rod" have come with a condom?
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

The horn is a nice touch... until someone looses their cell phone and decides to hop the fence.

...And Lost Kause would scream in pain and shrivel up into a little raisin. I hate glitter.
But these extremely happy theme ideas, no matter how comedic, are really making me smile. It would be kind of nice for a change. A creature that is not sinister or predatory in nature. A mythical animal who wants to spread joy and happiness all over the land. I kind of dig it, even if these ideas are not serious.

I think that's an awesome logo. And you can hardly tell it was a last minute rush job...
Good find, Slith!

Still better than Kentucky Kingdom's
Must be intense if that star-cloud is peeing itself.
The trick was to surrender to the flow.
The cloud nearest the sun and the sun itself have such different expressions, yet they see the same thing. What does the sun know that the cloud does not?
Along with announcing Roller Coaster Appreciation Night, Cedar Point may have also posted a clue about the new coaster's logo
