Cedar Point's Raptor

I just made the hops at a 90 degree angle from the lift for simplicity, even though its more like 100 degrees
. The first 2 overbanks are hard to remake and are a bit top-heavy. The track and screenshots are over at coastergames.net if anyone is interested.

I'm eager to see you version Jeff, it sounds like its going to be truly accurate. The only problem is it may slow down too much at the end if its like the full length I made. If its anything like Raptor, then I'm sure it will be great :).

I feel OK about the track layout for the most part, but I haven't done supports yet. The problem is that the heights are right, but it doesn't reach 93 and the track length is too short (same thing that happened with Raptor).

The other thing I don't like is the turbulence. The program injects all kinds of shaking which, frankly, isn't realistic.

Yeah, mine only gets up to 91 MPH and slows down way too much at the end. I think there is too much friction added, because if I make the drop 90 degree with less deviation from 90 (as opposed to the smooth graceful drop) it gets there. The version which came with the game stayed at around 85 degree's for long which is why it probably made it up to 92 MPH
