Cedar Point..Rumor and a Special Guest

I'm not one to start the rumor mill going, but apparently Cedar Point will be making a major announcement at Coastermania next week, and Mr. Bolliger his own self is to speak at the event. Read into this what you will, but don't kill the messenger. If this has already been touched on, sorry, but I didn't see anything of it here on the Buzz.

Yes, Mr. Bolliger is going to be there, but i doubt you will have an announcement made. Either way I'm sure it will be a good presentation.

B&M is getting into the flume ride remodeling business??? (Allegedly.)

B&M is getting in the train modificaiton seat belt business (wishful thinking).

B&M is acquiring Intamin. And hopefully it's not the other way around.

I certainly hope not. For all the crap we give Intamin, I'd much rather ride a Ride of Steel than any Beemer. And El Toro. and Maverick.

I will say it:

CP needs a B&M flyer...

I would not of said that until I rode Manta... Ultimate Flights are horrible, but Manta really is something special. If CP could make this type of coaster unique with a good layout, it would be incredible for the park.

Lets hope this means *something*, and not just show-and-tell :) Even if they do not say anything!

Impossible. B&M is an engineering consulting company, while Intamin is a manufacturing giant that happens to design rides.

No silly. I have thousands of proxies, IP's, and emails. I've already been banned once from PB before. How do you think I got back the second time?
