Cedar Point topped off its new B&M wing roller coaster, Gatekeeper, last week. PointBuzz has continuing coverage of the construction.

I thought the aliens were working with Bigfoot and that Elvis landed on the moon. Shows what *I* know...

I hate the Meijer flagship store. It stocks those big ass 64 oz. jars of Skippy peanut butter year after year while my local store only gets the 16 oz. generic crap.

they were always trying to find ways to get people from store 11 to come to store 50.

...then...

Store 11 was what was known to most people as the Ghetto store. There was even talk of closing that store all together. Instead they bulldozed the old store, and built a brand new one, and they did that for one reason only. To keep the ghetto in the ghetto.

So which is it? Were they trying to draw the "ghetto" customers from store 11 to 50 as you originally stated - or keep them at store 11???

I always thought store 11 was really good value. Store 50 was too intense for me.

Elvis isn't dead, Andy. He's working the customer service desk at store 33.

Here's a nice new video showing off Gatekeeper from the beach side. Will you be able to access that beach area from the Gatekeeper area? Each train will have lights, haven't heard that before, sounds very cool!

I'm glad to hear the season pass center is getting a re-do, and I hope they put some thought to it. The process at the old location was a nightmare.

Yeah, I realized how lackluster CP's set up was one year when I processed at Kings Island. Kings Island had a large processing center with about 10 stations. Even with quite a few people in line, I was done in several minutes.

I'd try to hit CP when the line was short, but it always felt like I was waiting outside in that awkward area out back forever. Everyone would look at the employee with the latest batch of passes like a vulture, and they'd seem to yell everyone's name but mine. ;-)

But, those days are gone now with the easy online renewals.

Have they fixed the inconsistency from park to park with season passes (the pass works some places and others you have to get a guest pass)? That was so poorly done.

I still had to get a comp ticket at Knotts in December cause my pass wouldn't scan.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Yep, I had to get a comp ticket at Knotts in Jan. And better yet, the girl scanning it looks at me like I'm a fool when it doesn't scan.
