To everyone who's complaining: Quit schwabinchen! ;)

No really - even though I never rode this ride, I'll miss it. It is cool looking and I like the trabant rides.

Come to think of it, apart from one single ride on the swings, I have never ridden a flat ride at CP in a dozen visits.

I liked schwabinchen.

I Don't Want The New Coaster If They Are Taking Out Schwabinchen. Just Kidding! Really Kidding!!!

On another note, Since the end of the season is coming up, maybe we will see a ride announcement... I am hoping

Those breasts are quite perky, I must confess.

Let's hope this news does not let them go in sagging.

Sharpe (not to be confuses with TO's Sharpie said: Also since Mack is no longer around you cant get new parts like you can for a Huss(aka Troika, Witches Wheel, Ocean Motion,

And where exactly did Mack go? Last I heard, they were still very much alive. Didnt they just collab with B&M on a "big ass" coaster? (Silver Star)

I bet it all has to do with CP's growing trend of becoming politically correct. First, Lusty Lil's changes its name, and then Schwanbinchen and her "perky breasts" leave. What's next? Are Ocean Motion's statues going to get painted-on bikinis??? ;)

Well let's hope they don't get too carried away. After all, Cedar Point's land mass IS shaped like a large phallic symbol ;-)

It's amazing that everyone has mentioned the breast (which are enourmous), but the background characters all look like penises! Then Kennywood had to one up them and design a new logo for the Racers that looks like red and blue sperm. What's this world coming to:)

I guess I am glad I got one last ride on it. Not a bad little flat rides, although I am assuming this is where Troika and/or Chaos will call home next year.

I liked this ride, espeically as someone who is part German. I would suggest either Reflection Amusement pick it up for their program to reopen Chippewa Lake or the German Central Farm in Parma, Ohio get it!

I'm also forced to question why they are removing this ride. Certainly there are many places throughout the park where Troika and/or Chaos would fit nicely. (caughMFMantisWildcatAreacaugh). I hope its not the family image thing because after all, it's not like there's anything showing on the lady. Also, look at some of the rides they've put up in recent years including Power Tower and the new ride for '03! :) Both shaped like giant well, you know... :)

My guess is they'll used the "can't get parts" excuse like they did with Fascination. It's not that I was a huge fan of Fascination or Schwabinchen, it's just that I hate to see senseless removal of attractions that the family can enjoy. Also, this is two years in a row that CP has built a ride, but their count has not increased (well, assuming that Project 2003 is the only ride being added next year). Perhaps if they put a Zamperla Hawk or a Huss Giant ride in Schwabinchen's place, I won't feel like its removal is senseless.

Obviously there's No More Space at CP, so that plot of land where Schwabinchen was is going to have to do for the 2004 coaster.

I'd be on the lookout for "The World's Tallest and Fastest Toboggan!"

Don't get your hopes up. VF's (once CP's) Bayern Kurve was replaced with picnic tables and a rock climbing wall.

Mind you, they have dunked about $22 million in the park since its 'retirement'.....just not on another spin-and-spue.

I don't think we have to worry about this ride being removed. Sure, it was fun, but the lines were never that long for this ride. It's interesting to think that when a ride is being removed all of a sudden it is a "great ride" but if some random person just walked up to you and said "do you like that ride?" would you say "it's one of the best flats in the park"?

All I am trying to say is, this ride was going to go eventually. Anyways, I think Troika Troika Troika will go in this area.

The top 3 all time cobrarolls.

1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's

This is just a tragedy! Since they're getting rid of this masterpiece, they must replace it with something that costs 20 times as much like a 5D, Schwoosh Gigantic Ride, or a Balooga coaster! If they remove Calypso, they've messed with the wrong guy!

I don't know about everyone else, but change is always fun and with a park like Cedar Point, I don't think this is just a random removal. Sure, I'll miss hootie 1 and hootie 2, but I think I can live with knowing Disaster Transport is still right over there! :)

Danny, who hopes that if there is a replacement, it's another high quality attraction(flat ride) on the scales of Snoopy on Ice!

I remember the Schwabinchen was a sight the first time I saw it. She had wayyyyy more lights on her skirt, that were later filled in with something like putty, and she had umbrellas over every other seat, that gave it a weird effect of having a roof over you. Another classic Cedar Point ride....
I don't remember the umbrellas, but I do somehow remember her as being somewhat more grand when she was located at the present-day Wildcat location. Now, she's just a bargain-basement department store mannequin with worn out knockers.
