Cedar Point survey markers

Ghostrider crushes Point wood,
and Disneyland rocks.

I will take these east coast parks any day. Cedar point, Hershey, 6 Flags great adv., Kennywood, Canada's Wonderland. However I still someday want to travel to the west coast parks.

The coasters on the west coast are fun, but except for a few, most don't really seem to have much "bite" to them... probally because the larger rides seem to be on the shorter side in terms of legnth. I guess I'm just spoiled.

So since we are talking about CP and survey markers, is there any possible truth to the Mean Streak Removal Rumor (which is now a 14-page thread) on Pointbuzz? I would assume its not.

I am one of those oddballs that like the mean streak. Let it live!

Does anyone actually have any real idea what these markers are if anything?? I can't believe everytime there are survey markers it means a new ride is coming. I believe Jeff said we will know shortely but I am thinking it's not a new coaster. Hope I'm wrong.
