Cedar Point raises ticket prices by a dollar

Posted | Contributed by Zero-G

WKYC, a local TV station out of Cleveland, reports that Cedar Point will raise adult ticket prices one dollar to $39. This hike follows a $5 raise last year, coinciding with the opening of Millennium Force.

Read the report from the Associated Press on the WKYC site.

I will still go to cedar point this year. My home park costs 43.99 to get in. plus eight dollars for parking
Got my combo pass and parking pass so I think I will still go this year. If you wanna complain about prices I'll send you my home gas bill.
Parking is my biggest gripe with park prices. Especially since there isn't really any other alternative to get there except to drive. As anybody ever walked or bicycled? I guess they could still get you for the 50cent causeway toll. :)
I kinda thought that maybe Jeff wouldn't put this on the site because it's not much of a news item. But here we are!

One dollar aint going to hurt. EVERY PENNY is worth it at Cedar Point. They have to maintain there rides you know.

does this mean the season pass prices will go up?
i guess there just saving there penies for maby the big 2002 attraction
can't walk or bike down the causeway to cp ;-), the fine would be much more than the price of parking...you could always try the back way, but I would suggest a bike lock. *** This post was edited by psumagnum on 1/20/2001. ***
Buy a season pass at the end of the season and a parking permit at the end of the season when they are cheap for next year, or better yet, if you are that cheap, stay home. Queue's will be that much shorter for the rest of us. They didn"t get the money for M.F. (or anything else) by passing a hat, and the last time I checked, the folks at Arrow, B&M, and Intamin AG (or employees) Don't work for free.
