Cedar Point: Planet Snoopy for 2008

It's amazing that Gator can post a comment on the banner, but when I do and point out other flaws with it, I get crap from it.

I never said it was a big deal, I just mentioned other problems with it.

I know how you feel. There is a click in many of these coaster forums and if you don't kiss each others butt you will get jumped on.
If you think this site is bad, you should go over to Theme Park Review. Those morons are terrible! They take turns kissing that Robb and Elissa's behind and they are so obvious with it. It takes one post that contradicts anything either of those two vindictive a--holes say and you will get booted. There is a small breadth of opinion over there.

When push comes to shove, there are more friendly and knowledgeable people here and that is why I choose this site for my coaster talk.
Keep up the good work Coaster Buzz!!!

Top 5, in no particular order: 1. MF 2. Maverick, 3. Kraken 3. El Toro, 4. TTD 5. Superman Krypton Coaster Top overrated coasters: 1. Incredible Hulk (Boooooring!) 2. Nitro 3. Expedition G-force 4. Goliath(SFMM) 5. Any Dive Coaster

I thought for sure they were going to name it Planet Snoop and market it towards the urban Detroit crowd. They are sadly lacking in that market don't forget. ;)

^LOL, given Snoop's show is named "Fatherhood", I can't imagine being any more "family" than that...

Wow. Just, wow. The things people spend time thinking about never cease to amaze me.

Like wondering how much your grass grew since the last time we checked the camera? ;)

Clearly I need to put that back up. With ads. I'll be rich.

Sounds ripe for a year of introducing three 'new' wood coasters (relocated from Geauga) to solidify their reign as the roller coast and provide an unprecedented slew of new coasters all at once - otherwise watch flat attendance figures at this park if they're simply doing planet snoop
On a semi-related note: anyone know when the attendance estimates for 2007 will be out?

I'm sorry but I had to comment on the person who thinks Cedar Point is getting Geauga Lake's wood coasters in 08.

Rye.D.Ziner, no offense but have you been hiding in a cave or are you just completely clueless?

BTW I don't know when the attendence figures are released but I assumed it would be shortly after the new year. When were they released last year? *** Edited 1/4/2008 12:42:56 AM UTC by RushStreetFlyer***

neither! wishful thinking for the new year :)
Well I'm sure most would agree that the space that would be utilized by RWB would probably be put to better use by something brand new.
I must be on the wrong website if that's the case :(

yeah that's all we need is another top thrill dragster to take up umpteen acres for a gimmicky thrill. yippee

The kiddie coaster (Beaverland) is up for sale as opposed to coming to Cedar Point.

There are about a dozen of GL's rides listed in IRG's website that I could find. Look at the bottom of this page.

^ The most interesting thing about that list is what is missing - Head Spin.

Well, if you belive the rumor, then it could be going to Kings Dominion in 09.

I think last year they were delayed, as AB was no more...I forget.

I don't understand why some of those rides are not being relocated to other parks -- especially Beaverland

I didn't see Americana (Ferris Wheel) listed for sale. I can't wait to see where it ends up.
It would probably be cheaper (if a CF parked wanted one) to get a new kiddy coaster rather than de-construct, move, and re-construct Beaver Land.
