If I had read your question I would have been more than happy to answer it for you about the 3-d glasses. I spend so much time surfing over at GTTP I don't get here very often. On OD my group and I moaned and groaned about the extra buck for the 3-d glasses (cheap paper ones) but we all dished out the 1.00 each anyway. The "effects" are simply 3-d paint on the walls, and hardly "ride" related. The coolest thing was the floor because it looked like you were standing "in" it. We wore then while riding the ride too and in certain spots it was cool. At least the 3-d glasses have the Disaster Transort logo on them so it's another cool CP item I now own :)
The coolest pic I got that day was all of us taking a pic outside DT with the 3-D glasses on-it is a CLASSIC! :)
Hope that helped! :)

Cowgirls dig cowboys in Wranglers! ;)
I think someone said it before, but its funny at how so many people who were saying negative things about the free system at Disney and Universal are now all positive for it just because its at Cedar Point. One of the posters even alluded to that CP was a pioneer park for this "free" system... LMAO! What a joke!
----------------
"But at least all the Swan Boats were running."
Ummm... who slammed on Fast Pass at Disney? I know I didn't, since I haven't used it. In fact, I'd like you to show me who slammed Fast Pass, then advocated Freeway. You know, just so I know you're not looking for a fight.

And it was you that said it.
"They're experimenting with something called "Freeway," an obvious slam to the various "virtual queue" schemes that cost money at other parks."
I never look for fights. But it doesn't help when you talk to someone who never backs down and closes threads when the arguements get too difficult for him. If I was looking for the fight, I would have directed it to you in the first place. Remember that thread/debate about Disney transportation or something? Why were you argueing if you've never been to Disney? It doesn't matter. Maybe I'm not thinking of the right thing and it has nothing to do with this. Just saying.
I'm sorry if I misinterpreted your quote wrong. Does it mean something different than I see?
Misinterpreted? I don't think you even read it. I said parks that use a pay system, which isn't Disney. Disney was never part of the discussion. Furthermore I'd say that the general opinion of Disney's system on this site has been relatively positive.
And for the record we don't close anything for disagreement (see the Hostyl One), we close things that get into name calling or attacks on people's character. You're dangerously flirting with that now... be careful.

Quoth the Jaguar...."Check"
Easy people, who cares what park does and does not to manage their lines. If I had a choice to wait in line 4 hours or use the fastlane at SFMM for 15 min, I would choose the Fastlane. People who want to wait in the regular line for hrs, fine. And same for the fastlane.
If you know business and you were a manager, you would place the same system to compete with other rival parks.

And can you point out specifically where I'm dangerously flirting with disaster against one's character or name calling? You know, just so I know you're not looking for a fight.
I think that was you attacking my character by assuming I wanted to have a fight. Maybe I should contact the webmaster about it.
I didn't know why you closed threads. That's just how it always looks, because you usually make a smarty remark to someone then close the thread. Sorry, maybe I misinterpreted you again. Print on the internet in black and white is sometimes hard to read in between the lines. No offense at all. It's just how you come off. I also get really defensive about anything Disney, so maybe its just me overreacting. I'm not like this all the time though. Only when I'm behind my computer screen and there's no one to stop me....
I'm just joking anyway! I love you Jeff! Don't take things so seriously. It's only an internet discussion.

Okay guys I know this really has nothing to do with what you all are talking about but I am going to Cedar Point this Saturday, May 18th and I am still young I am 14 so I am going with my school's choir. I really look forward this year since you all said they put the black lights back in, the past 2 years they didn't have them in :(. And I hope they did something about MF's wheels cause I want a fast ride! I will get back with you all on how my day went...I am assuming it will be a great time like usual though considering I live 2 hours away from CP lol! :)

They're using a queue system because the market demands it. I don't see a need for it personally, but the "GP" certainly does. We went without it last year and except for the busiest days major rides rarely went over an hour.
Why does the market demand it and why does the GP see a need for it if the lines rarely go over an hour except on the busiest day? Doesn't make sense to me if they have the highest capacity of any park in the world evidently. What does this say about the park? They can't handle "normal" operations like they have for over 100 years? I'm wondering not really commenting on anything. Maybe its a totally new system that will never fail and everyone will be happy with it.
Maybe its just something in the soda...

Just to make sure, can someone point out to me if there was any point where you thought I may have been out of line? I think the closing threads thing was a bunch of nonsense I shouldn't have brought up and I forget what it had to do with anything although I thought it did when I said it. I think. :)
Definitely in agreement with that rollergator. I never have pop at parks, so maybe CP will be my favorite park when I drink some. I really wouldn't mind if something made me "think" CP was that much better. The more positive, the better it is I think. =^D
I'm hardly ever have anything negative to say about anything in real life. This internet thing is a cool game anyway. ;)

It says that they respond to what guests want. Time spent in line is time spent in line, and unless you really get off standing in the sun for an hour, you prefer to wait as little as possible. If that doesn't make sense to you, what does?
