Cedar Point is donating $7,500 to organizations that benefit children. The money is a collection of loose change found underneath rides, along the Midway and in the park's water fountain.
Read more from WTOL/Toledo.
In the past the rides with the most money collected have been:
Demon Drop (Always seems to be a favorite- you know the penny trick, right?)
Witches Wheel (How? I don't know...)
And, more recently, Chaos
In the past, rides were given different charities to "collect" for. I'm not sure if it still happens that way.

I'm sure you guys are aware of all the change that is thrown onto one of the footers closest to the bridge portion of the queue on Mantis...does anyone know if they have people go down into the lagoon to get money that didn't stay up on the footer? If so, do they wait until the off-season when they drain the lagoons? That wouldn't be the mose pleasany job dragging the bottom for spare change.
