I went almost two years without cable when I was in Cleveland, and recorded stuff to my homemade DVR from over-the-air signals. Had to get cable again in Orlando because I can't get a signal inside these damn concrete houses. Next week I'll see if the new place is better for it.

If it weren't for The Walking Dead and American Horror Story, I'd only have over-the-air network TV. I only watch maybe four hours of TV a week, if that. Why am I paying for cable TV again?

Walking Dead's first season was its best. The Walkers have lost just about all of their menace at this point. I'm kind of digging the direction this season has taken, but I still think the show peaked early.

If it wasnt for wanting to watch football games (ie turning to ESPN) I would have done it long ago and just payed for Hulu + and neflix.

Sports are about the only thing we watch over subscription TV. Most of the rest of our viewing is via iTunes/Netflix/etc. But, we watch a lot of sports, between the Big Ten and Pac 12 networks, NBC's coverage of the Premiere League, and other international soccer, etc.

I only have internet, and I still keep up with Walking Dead. :)

If I miss it on basic (which comes by default with cable internet), then I pony up the $3 to watch it on iTunes over the Apple TV.

Yeah I don't miss Walking Dead. I have the internet...20mbp from TWC is great.
