The Disneyland incident was different from 9-11.
The White House, Disneyland, and Space Needle trilogy were planned by the same group. Remember, the planting of bombs on Main Street at Disneyland? Park shut down and three resturants were in left in bad condition? Dang, Disney did a good job keeping that under rap, probably so they wouldn't scare away the tourists.

Rubberducky stated that unless the President is riding MF, CP is not a valid target. Hmmmmm... the President was not in tower 1 or 2 of the WTC on the morning of Sept 11, and they found that those two buildings were valid targets.
Is WTC govermental? Yes. Is MF? No. Is MF with the president on it? Yes.
The more people that die the more terror is caused.
Q:Would more people die if a bomb blew up at a baseball game or a amusement park?
A: Baseball Stadium or any large sporting event.
If it is a terrorist goal to cause terror they will kill as many people as possible. But notice on 9-11 they were trying to hit the white house which had all of 300 people in it. It is all about the goverment.

Good grief, I say quit planting seeds. Don't give anyone that may be reading any ideas!
Yikes!

Point taken Shaggy... I removed my latest post.
However... the only thing that I will repeat... I still think some folks (like Rubberducky) have their head in the sand if they think it is only about the government. The point of these cretins is to spread terror any way they can.
I am not saying that sporting venues are not possible targets... surely they are... but so is just about everything else. We got a wake up call on the morning of 9-11. We are no longer in the safe and secure world that we thought we were in before that day. Do I think about the possibilty of something happening when I am at a park. Of course. Is that going to stop me from going... no. The opposite of sticking your head in the sand and foolishly thinking that these fanatics will limit their targets to a this, that, and the other is thinking that "oh my God, any place could be hit (which it can)... I'm going to stay home and hide under my bed in terror." Quaking in terror and putting our lives on hold is not the way to go about doing things... because this is exactly what these monsters want us to do.

Terrorists aren't stupid, I am sure they have thought of these ideas. I am a 15 year old kid with no hatred for the US, and I thought of them.
I agree, there is no place we are one hundred percent safe. Any gathering of a large amount of people is unsafe these days. 9-11 just woke us up and proved it. I feel amusement parks are one hundred percent safe. I personally think that there are many other things a terrorist would hit before an amusement park.

RubberDucky,
I disagree. I think terrorists ARE stupid.
Let me explain my thoughts. I am a 30 year old man and prior to 9-11 I never thought about how a park would make a great terrorist target. It was only after hearing of Disney park closures that I thought...Uh Oh!
I guess my mind doesn't work in that way. Call me naive.

Yes, i'm twelve. Yes, i love rollercoasters. Yes, i can kick your butt.
I never(even after 9-11) had the idea of a park being a terrorists target. But even prior to 9-11 when at a sporting event I seriously wondered who was sitting around me.
Terrorists have brains is the way I should put it. They are smart, we have to face that. But their common sense and morals arent there, and that we have to face too.
