As I said on PointBuzz, they're finally building that coaster under the lake.

New water slide is my guess. Unless they’re getting a flat they would have been doing site work on the Snake River site if they were planning on opening that next year.
There is a Stair To Nowhere in the water park so that’s a definite possibility.
Yeah, you can tell my phone proofreading is adversely affected by my deteriorating near sight. I can't get the phone brighter, bigger or further away from me than the length of my arm. It's worse at the end of the day.

They might as well re-announce Top Thrill 2 at this point.

It's a dive show using the platform of Top Thrill Dragster. Showing off 400 foot high dives into the water. :-)

I've always thought that a water ride that interacted with Thunder Canyon, over it I guess (there is a lot of land around that attraction), would be fun.

Hmm, when I first read this, my thought was "wow, combine the old power boats of many parks with the raft ride for two different experiences... You can either go downstream in a raft or fight your way upstream in a small motor boat." Yeah, not happening due to insurance companies.
Since no one has mentioned what this is for, is it possible it's a rep-theme/revamp of the existing ride? Perhaps with an enclosed show scene at the top?
EDIT: Well, I was way off the mark.
The fact that they have not started any visible construction and they are teasing an upcoming announcement, tells me the scope of this project is limited.
Oceana but it’s just a tank of murky water and a woman with green eyes jumping out thanks for coming folks exit through the gift shop.
That teaser had me falling asleep. How did it end?
Looks like many people will have a case of anticippointment when they tell us what this is about.
