Cedar Point 2004- What to expect?

Shouldn't you guys just enjoy TTD right now? 2003 is just beginning...

It's coming...

I think what jkpark meant was that with all these happenings on TTD they're blowing next year's budget on maintaining it.

No wood, indefinetely. Read that somewhere in an article in the past where head maintenance stated that Mean Streak and Blue Streak are enough of a burden.
If Cedar Point knew how to treat a wooden coaster, cough, cough (Mean Streak), then a woodie would be a great addition. It seems to me that this is what the general public is interested in, that or flats.

Don't Intamin "plug 'n plays" require less maintenance? Or am I just making that up?

Seems a little early for this type of topic...

I would guess that CP would build maby a nice wildmouse or somethin of that sort/ just to keep the coaster count up wit magic mountain (but i would not complain about a power launched woody..hint hint) jk

Top Thrill Dragster, HERE I COME

Hey guys when someone makes a joke such as Legend n Raven: "Does this mean the overbanked turns have arrived?", don't take them seriously and answer their post like they were 3 years old. It was an obvious exaggeration, you don't need to correct and him and say "no, of course not, that's silly." IT WAS A JOKE!!!
TTD 05, have you ridden any other wooden rides from Summers and Dinn? Almost all of their rides suffer from some sort of problem, so don't go blaming Cedar Point for Mean Streak.

I think we won't be seeing many woodies at CP, since it probably won't break records, which CP likes doing. I think a floorless would be a good addition. It has the potential to be the tallest looping coaster, largest loop on a coaster, tallest floorless, and longest floorless (record taken from SFWoA). I don't think this coaster will have a record amount of loops, maybe 6 or 7 seven loops.

Bakeman is right, in threads like this that are doomed for the crapped, people tend to joke around.

cpk, please tell me you're kidding. CP and SFMM are NOT competing. ;)

If at first don't succeed, find out if the loser gets anything.

I am assuming that all of the "he was joking" comments are aimed at me. How was I supposed to know he was joking? There was no hint to it. And do you know how many times I have heard people seriously ask about "why Xcel has over banks and we dont"? Its just an automatic esponce when i see someone talk about Dragster and overbanks. Im sorry to upset everyone, next time I'll turn on my sarcasm radar so I dont miss it.
The season just started. Lets entertain this type of topic down the road.

Closing.
