My guess is that they may be updating some of the websites. I know ValleyFair still had much of the 2006 information still listed, although the 2007 calendar was on the website. With the season starting in seven weeks, I was wondering when the website would be updated.
You don't need to take a website down to make updates of that nature, and that doesn't explain why the entire chain is down. My guess is a problem at the hosting facility... it's not uncommon.
Well, they're back up. At least, CP's site is. Webcams still not, though.
ETA: Taking a closer look at CP's site, it appears to have been slightly redesigned. Things just look different. I like it. *** Edited 3/26/2007 2:03:10 PM UTC by ilovethewildone***
The webcams will probably be down for awhile. I'm sure it's not a cooincidence that they're "down for maintanence" at the same time that Maverick's testing should be starting.
The normally animated header at the top of Cedar Point's web site is not currently animated and the snow is gone from it now. So those are some of the updates that are happening.
The CP site is in the 'Lite Graphics' setting at the moment, that's why the banner isn't animated and there aren't the usual picture headers on the blog, rides, etc.
There's nothing different about Cedar Point's website except that they finally moved out of the "winter" mode into the "summer" mode with the top banner no longer showing snow-covered rides & trees!
Unfortunately, Maverick is still nowhere to be seen up there!
