Cedar Fair Parking Pass

I had posted this topic on Pointbuzz but then I thought I might get more opinions on Coasterbuzz about a Cedar Fair parking pass. And I would like your feedback!

As some of you know, CP is offering a GL/CP parking pass. Would any of you members like to see the company offer a Cedar Fair wide parking pass, good at ALL 7 of their parks?

Thanks!

Of course we would, just like we would like to see one from Six Flags because we would be the only ones utilizing it.

It's not going to happen. *** Edited 11/10/2005 3:49:52 PM UTC by Neuski***

I'm just happy that you can get the parking pass on your season pass this year, without having to buy Joe Cool.

Yep - saved 30 bucks and didn't buy Joe Cool for the wife and I.
I'm glad that Dorney still offers free parking with the Season Pass at no extra charge whatsoever, even though they're "losing" the lot for the new wavepool.

It would be nice, however, I don't think it would happen.
ME! ME! ME! I want one! It would especially be nice for the people in the TRI-PARK area (MiA, CP, GL) and then for those who live in Iowa who frequent VF amd WOF.

What they had free parking at Dorney? Now is that for Dorney pass holders or Cedar Fair pass owners. Cause if that is the case i should have flashed the ol season pass this year.

I didn't have to pay when I went there in August and I'm not a season pass holder to Dorney. :)
Well, officially the free parking is only for Dorney Park Season Pass Holders... although it doesn't hurt to ask, and I'm sure there are some employees who would let you in with another CF park's pass.

I was at Knotts last April and I didn't get to park for free with my CP parking pass. The employees at parking weren't sure if I could or not. They charged me and said to go to the general sales (?) office and they could give me my money back if I could park for free. Didn't work.

If I'm not mistaken, I think DP is the only CF park that allows free parking with their season pass and no extra fees.

I got free parking at Knott's but not at Michigan's Adventure. That was a real head scratcher....

What park do you have a pass for?

Also, based on cedarpointchic's post, I'm thinking perhaps you weren't entitled to free parking @ Knott's, but the person didn't know and let you in.

It says right on the back of the Dorney pass that the passholder is entitled to free parking at Dorney only. If you get it anywhere else, I guess it's just a bonus. :)

If it's for free it's for me!

It's really cool when a sisterpark parking season passholder KNOWS that they shouldn't be getting free parking at a park other than their own, but tries anyway. Parks love that. So do the cars behind you in line for the parking booths. And the people you complain to at the front gates.

It's not worth it people. For everyone's sake, start your visit off right...cough up the money and enjoy the rest of your day :) :)

Well I see nothing wrong with asking if they allow free parking. You never know if policies have changed, or if they're running a "special" of sorts. And I mean that seriously.

However, complaining in any way when they say 'no' isn't cool.

Dannerman the parking pass was for Cedar Point. Knott's was the first other Cedar Fair park I tried it at and the attendant didn't blink an eye and let me park free. A few months later I tried at Michigan's Adventure and they laughed. ST chick, I'm not the complaining type.:)

Perhaps another option CF could look into is offering reduced parking for sister parks passes/employees. I'm sure it wouldn't really hurt them much to offer passholders parking for like $2 - but that silly little 'perceived value' thing would skyrocket.. heck, even for $5 I'm sure there'd be a lot of buzz among the season pass community.

Knott's let me park for free with my CP Combo pass.

I still bought one for MiA though.
