CCI Engineers form new Coaster Company

Shouldn't it really be "Lateral Group, LLC"? LOL Amidst all the crazy things going on in the industry, this and X's rebirth make for a bright spot.

SFA rules, wouldn't Myrtle Beach count as the east coast? :)

GG...just doesn't have the ring to it as CCI.

You can hear the laughter, you can hear the mighty roar. From the brickyard down in Indy to the white Chicago shore. It's a rollin', twistin', turnin' and might we both suggest. You get you fanny ridin' on the Cornball Express!

Brad, I always thought Morey's Piers was on the east coast as well, but maybe he's not counting them since I've heard The Great White is a mere shadow of its former glory. Oh well, I don't think you'll see exactly another CCI on the east coaster. Remember that there's Boulder Dash and Excalibur up the coast as well.

BTW, this is now "In the News..."

I can cope with that CornballFreak ;)

It's amazing how quickly things happened once CCI broke up. Within weeks Denise went to S&S, and now this... It seems that our fears that it was the end of the era of great wood, have thankfully been silenced. :)

Well, it's all good if you ask me. Can't wait to see what new challenges they overcome. How about a CCI darkride, or a tunnelling underwater woodie? :) Can you imagine?

GGL? ;) That has a decent ring to it.

Thank You for challenging TOS: The Ride. We hope you enjoy the rest of your day, here at SFCB.

Dragon, I've heard from several friends from Jersey that the coaster has become extremely rough and delivers very little airtime than it did opening year and most of them agreed that the SLC was smoother and a better ride. I was just going by what they said and I haven't ridden it myself. It's probably just their opinion on the ride just like everyone else. Some people hate The Boss, Mean Streak, Son of Beast, Raging Wolf Bobs, Rolling Thunder, etc. and others have them on their Top 10 coaster list, so I wouldn't take it personally. ;)

ahhhh.....now I will be able to sleep at night :)

The dream team is still together. ;)

Actually the dream team is torn in half.

no offence taken king, i was just wondering, for me it had ample airtime, i ddint get to ride the SLC, it was closed but the crews down there do wonderful at mantianing the rides. but i really cant say how well it opened, only my 2 rides front and back.
Why is the dream team torn in half? If you mean Denise Dinn, she did no designing whatsoever anyway.

Well, if TGGL (toggle?) gets the Ravine Flyer, that leaves us....Bell's, and the rebuilt Flyer Comet. I believe we have figured on GCI wfor the SF woodie inWW/EV, right......hmm, perhaps the wooden re-revolution isn't over just yet......and I'm maintaining hope for a coaster at HW (Paula gave us the news, after all)......Thanks Paula, great news to send off the weekend!
