Carowinds... tisk tisk.

I am ok said:

It just makes me mad to see places like CP getting hypercoasters practically every year, and down here in the Carolinas we get crappy Ricochet or Runaway Reptar.

Would you like to trade Nebraska for South Carolina? I didn't think so. Your alot luckier than you think!

This isn't psycologybuzz.com

Just in case you're curious, jiffy, the park was suppose to receive two flat rides next year but the decision was made to put in Nick Central. Paramount is notorious for changing plans when it comes to Carowinds.

Working with the park on last month's ACE event, I learned a lot about how Paramount works and their philsophy towards their parks. If I remember the fact correctly that I was told, Carowinds biggest draw is families more than any other Paramount park. So, that's what they're going after. I know its frustrating to see the other parks get a B&M flyer, a hyper (Apollo), and the Hurricane at the Pavilion (heaven knows Carowinds needs a good wooden coaster.) But, it pays to have patience. It'll turn out to be worth it in the end.

You may not be excited about Reptar but its a fun little coaster. Carowinds is getting the same themeing as PKI's Reptar and I think it will be a cool addition to the park. Am I really happy about it? No. But, I'm going to support the park no matter what. They're going to do what they feel is best for the park. You can't blame them for that.

Nor is it psychologybuzz. But sometimes I think maybe it should be.... ;)

You can spell.
God. This is so stupid. Why am I wasting my time arguing with you?
Yes, I can. And now I'm going home. If this topic is still here in the morning, I'll respond to your latest diatribe then.

You seem to be quite disturbed that people disagree with you. Did you honestly expect everyone here to reply and say "YES YOU ARE RIGHT I HATE PARKS I HATE CAROWINDS I WILL SIT HOME AND NEVER GO AGAIN!!!1111!1111"

I thought Carowinds rocked, and I'm almost 32. Look at it from my perspective: you've got 2 B&M's, an Intamin drop tower, the first Setpoint wet coaster, and three woodies (or four, depending on how you count), and a Sally dark ride. Give Runaway Reptar a chance before you bash it. Just think, in 3-4 years you may go to college far away from home, or you maybe you'll decide you've had enough and move to the midwest if you don't go to college.

Dude, you're getting an Intamin!
Ditto Intamin Fan. I don't know how this guy could survive at a park like Holiday World ;)

I'd imagine a similar response to what our old friend Patman used to give!

I never said that Carowinds wasn't any good. I'm just saying they keep adding these kid rides every year! It's not fair to us coaster fanatics!
It's not fair? Does the park owe us something because our hobby is coasters? They are a business. Their objective is to make money. Once there are enough 'enthusiasts' going to the parks to outnumber the amount of other people going there, yes, I am sure they will build all the big coasters you want. There is no fair and not fair involved.

To i am ok: you've made yourself known here today, but not necessarily in a good way. Yes, a few people have been a little hard on you but you gotta have thick skin if you're going to be an active member of Coasterbuzz.

Do yourself a favor: from now on, take the high road. If someone insults you, ignore it. If someone disagrees with your opinion, don't take it personally. Coasterbuzz is filled with others who have gotten as rocky a start as you did. Chill out, don't instigate drama, and you'll soon be fitting in and this day will all be forgotten.

As for your opinions on Carowinds...well, I'm sure you're not the only one who feels that way. However [and I mean no offense by this] as a 14-yr-old I hardly think you understand what it takes to run a successful theme park. I'm sure the park thinks they're adding the attractions they feel will bring in the most money.

A big thriller is bound to show up eventually...just be patient ;-)

Will someone please be the bigger person here?! I think there have been enough posters like this over the months that we should have learned to ignore the immature comments spawned by certain people's pubecent defense mechanisms.
